Rosemary's suggestion works for me too, thanks Rosemary. And Maureen I will check page 1 before I begin to make my quilt. Oh so exciting. It's a beautiful Autumn morning here in Wicklow. I am taking my son to get braces top and bottom this morning. He is so excited about it! He will probably want them taken off by tomorrow. :?

Hey all,
I am in Texas this week for a conference. I have a bit of time for shopping today before catching my plane home this evening. DH will pick me up at Heathrow and then we are taking off this weekend for a holiday. Monday is Columbus day so we have a 3 day weekend. I might not have an opportunity to play the design game with quilt #100. But I will see if I can download the picture onto my laptop. It's not like I won't have hours and hours on the plane.
I'm good with however you want to do the labels. I may somehow also add the names/location of the other members of the group to record for posterity.
Woohoo! Maureen, glad to hear you have the photo. Let the games begin!!
Lorna,
in sunny San Antonio, enjoying Mexican food and Texas BBQ to my hearts content! (let's hear it for Rudy's BBQ!) It will definitely be diet time after I get home. Now off to a couple local quilt shops to stock up on needles and other supplies!!

Maureen, Have a cup of tea! There are no quilt police saying you can't add a little nip of something to the tea. Have a good nights sleep and you will know what to do in the morning! It's guaranteed! I am sure of it!!!
I continue to have fun with 1000100. The starched fabric is dry but I am into trying new techniques for me. I am off on a tangent. I am taking a course from Pam Holland in Houston. I have been reading her blogs, archived back to 2009 and I am fasinated by her work. She is creating a duplication of the Beayux Tapestry. One of the oldest pieces of needlework we have ( I think that's correct.) It tells the story of the Battle of Hastings in 1066. It is 238 ft x 2 ft. She previewed 120ft of the work last night to her local guild in Australia. The original was embroidered, I think. Her reproduction is appliqued and illustrated with colored ink. She uses ink in places where very detailed illustration is required. Anyway, learning about her techniques sent me on my sidetrack to "Beth's Zinnias" and now "Red Fury" (is that right?) is having me explore one of her applique techniques - using a very fine blanket stitch. I will get back to the Laura Nownes quilt. I promise. That's why I starched the fabric.
