Great Lorna! Can you tell from the postmarks when they were mailed so we will have some idea of the real time it takes them to get to you???Originally posted by Lorna1021Hadn't had a chance to check my mail this week until today. Just picked up 4 packages! I'll let you know whose packages after I get home from work this evening.

Just back from vacation, but have been keeping up daily with the posts. What fun this exchange is turning out to be. I hope to mail my spools/birdhouses/jam jars tomorrow or Saturday. Margo, I tried your starch recipe and it worked great. Love the colors so far and the names sound luscious. Glad it's lunchtime - YUM.

3. move the left hand triangle to the right hand end and stitch together with a 1/4" seam.
4. measure 'b', then mark 'a' & 'c' to match, trim down
I found b to measure 4" and the amount I was removing was about 5/8" wide.
If you don't fancy the reels or bird houses or jam jars that is

That's something I would enjoy doing if no one more qualified volunteers. Give me about 6 months to think about it. I have to quit getting sidetracked and get some work done. And I would like to see how Carol is doing hers on the HST exchange. And I reserve the right to change my mind. I vote for waiting a year and including some quilts in it too. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the different style blocks these reels make. Everyone would have to contribute their own recipes. Cooking is not on my to do list much lately.Originally posted by MargoANY VOLUNTEERS????Originally posted by crocus999Reels and Recipes - a book with a food-coloured reel(s) on one side and a recipe on the other side. I love the idea.

Annis, I love the idea of waiting until we have some finished quilts to include and really hope you can work this out with your schedule.
Maybe some others can volunteer to help you gather/sort the photos and recipes???
