      Rita,

It is beautiful. I particularly like your fuschia and shamrocks. Congrats on such an amazing job.

Thanks Lorna. Seeing how beautifully yours turned out really spurred me on. Glad it's off the 'to-do' list.

Marilyn I tried to take a photo today but the weather was too bad to go outside so I hope this one will suffice. It's from the clothesline yesterday so it's a bit curled up at one edges. I just stitched the names on one side and the addresses on the other. I used the edge of my walking foot as my guide against the edge of the block. I didn't try to centre the names or addressed just guesstimated according to how many letters long they were. Hope that helps.

That's great ! I was curious about the name placement , etc. Was that a font on your machine? I really like the shadow block.
I didn't use an alternate block so I won't have quite as much stitching. I really must get back to mine !!

              Rita,
Your piecing, appliqué, esp the shamrocks and hummingbird are a favorite, embroidery and quilting are stunning! And, you quilted the reel quilt on your sewing machine!!! That's impressive.
I'm slowly working on mine along with other projects.

Somehow, my reply a month ago, when you reached out to find the makers of the unnamed reels, must have gotten lost in cyberspace. I looked through all my reels and I didn't have a match for the two you posted. Maybe someone that received 2x the reels might possibly have a similar block?

Thanks Debbie. Jeanne, I found names to put to the reels thanks. All present and accounted for. Glad you like the quilt.

Okay so I had to adjust Michel's words to suit my purpose, but I doubt that he would mind. I am off to post a photo in show and tell.
