Jane I also love your quilt. Mine is similar to your middle. Now I wish I wasn't already done with my quilt, I might have had to borrow your idea. How nice to hear from this group again!!

I thought you might enjoy seeing the quilt Edyta made from our SOTT's exchange. Barb was at quilt market and she sent the picture to me. I don't know if Edyta will have a booth at Festival, but maybe she will be at the TQS booth for a Meet & Greet.

Love the colors and movement the quilting gives to the overall concept. Are those little prairie points?

I believe they are prairie points Renata. Clara I love the quilt. And the quilting, the butterflies, just lovely.

They are left over itty bitty prairie points from my Alzheimer Quilts. I think they are fun and they happen to play off the triangles on the ends of the rows too. Didn't see that until the picture. Thanks guys for all the nice comments! Clara

Great little quilt, Clara. Love the butterflys in the quilting.

Jane, you really made a wonderful quilt. Congrats. Clara good luck getting all those signatures. And Rosemary (re our conversation about seams and fitting sewn clothes) I was thinking of you yesterday when I ventured into "couture" while I sewed up a Halloween costume for my daughter. It came out really nice. And Margo I used my little red tool to set a masking tape to show where a 5/8 seam should be. It is true that all this sewing of quilts, helps one to do other sewing better than they would otherwise. It actually fit my daughter when it was done much to my amazement. I guess those bust and waist measurements work. I was using fusible interfacing, which I understand because of my quilting(and rushing through this because I thought she would need it the next day.) I would post a photo but this is about quilts. Sorry for the digression. jan

Here's Shellie looking like Pocohantas (sp?). Thankfully I didn't mess with the instructions when I held the first piece up to her and it looked off. Now to get back to the 1/4" seam instead of 5/8ths. Quilt show in New Hampshire today. Can't wait to see the vendors. I better set a limit on expenditures. My teacher is Annie Smith of the podcast :Quilting Stash. She will be late due to delayed flights so the class has been stretched into the evening.
