Finally finished and loving the results! After spending entirely too much time on my design wall I finally came up with a project for my HSTs. Doing a basket quilt has been on my wish list forever.....and this project gave me the inspiration to push me to use techniques that I haven't for awhile. Found this pattern in an American and Patchwork magazine from 2001 and I was off and running!

I plan on hanging it on the wall of a room that I am converting to be a charming respite....including adding a picture window to take in the vista of my gardens. My quilt, sunshine streaming in, and the beauty of the blending of the indoors with nature.....life is good!
