What a great idea to add "friendship star" blocks in the border! And doing both machine and hand quilting sounds like a great plan!

Mimuscraft, I think Enchanted Forest of Friendship is beautiful and well named. I'm hoping to make that my next project using my left overs adding mine to the number of triangles. Shirley35

Thank You all for your nice comments! And it is so fun to see what every one are doing with their hst's. Lots of good patterns and blocks to try. I realized that I have (at least) one oooops in my quilt top: Center tree blocks were not supposed to float in my design!. I mean that after finishing the center part, I was supposed to cut it smaller so the tips of the tree blocks were supposed to touch dark floater strip. But I forgot all that by the time I started to sew borders in place... I am going to live with that and be happy to have a little bit larger friendship quilt!

May not make the cut-off for prototype...but laid out and ready to SEW. "Stars the World Around"
Will be slightly larger and have borders...too big for design wall !
