I got a box of HST last week, and was getting a bit worried as I handed in 700 and only got about 300 in return. :? Finally today the other box arrived with Golden Triangles today.. How lucky am I
... but I must have about 80 with no information on them at all..completely blank.
I love, love, love, the triangles, and I will have help with all the pressing. Let the fun Begin
thanks go to Debbie and Clara for their patience and all their hard work, and also to Ritzy for the Batic exchange. Also to everyone who participated. If anyone out there wants some from Australia to add to their collection, please send me an email and I will send you some of the extras I have made.
Thanks Clara, they finally arrived today!
Thanks again to everyone
Elizabeth (Liesje)
I'm glad both boxes arrived safe & sound, Elizabeth. There were a very large number of members who did not put anything on their HSTs at all, so everyone would have received quite a few of the blank ones, too. And we also found that sometimes the labels didn't stick well and fell off and there was no way to match those up with the right HSTs once the sorting began.
----------------------------------------------------
A brief reminder to International members who sent in more than 300 HSTs------Remember that, depending on how many you sent, you will be receiving at least two small Flat Rate box since the small box could only hold around 300 or so. The likelyhood of them both arriving the same day or even the next day is probably pretty slim.

Your second box should arrive soon. But...if it doesn't, I'll send you my duplicates and I know there are several others who will as well. Let us know......DoreenOriginally posted by NaspenHi, I can appreciate to "huge" job that you took on, but... I just received my HST's last Friday. Finally had a moment to look at what had been sent back to me. I am sorry, but I'm disappointed. I sent 504 HST's and only received 232 HST's back. When I opened the package it just didn't look even close to the amount that I sent, so I sat down and counted them. This isn't even half of what I sent out. Sorry, I am very disappointed. A difference of 10 or so, okay, but over half???? I am very sad.
Anyone else have this happen to them or am I the only one?
Just found out that there may be two boxes of HST's, so I'll be watching the post for the next package..Naspen

My HST's are here! Thank you all organizers! I just opened my package and wanted to let you know that those little gems are safely arrived. Now I will go and do some sorting... By the way, how did Clara guess I have started stamp collection with my kids and put some real post stamps on to my package? Thank you so much!

They're here!!!!!!!! - YAY !!!!!!!!!  Even my husband and kids are excited - I think they got sick of me asking "did my triangles come today?" I have one from Canada and the rest are from the USA. It's so exciting - I am going to look at a map today to see where all these places are. One of my friends suggested I quilt all the names and places on my quilt as part of the quilting design - definitely worth thinking about. Thanks so much to everyone who organised this

Another late night last night and guess what I was doing? Nope....., I was taking papers off hst's and I am sure I have rsi this morning, very painful.
Off to Bernina this morning and I am taking my little iron and ironing board and I am going to sit and chat and press open all my little gems - probably take all day but that's OK.
Cheers,

Hi, Everyone
I've done something really stupid.
ops: This weekend I pressed my lovely hsts open and sorted by colors. Near the end I realized I did not see the ones I got from Australia, UK, and Canada. I did have yours, Lotti (Switzerland) mostly because I found it much later, but the others are nowhere to be found. I suspect they were put in the recycle bin along with the mailing envelope.
I had made extra and still have papers to do more if needed. Would anyone be willing to trade directly one on one so that I can have a few internationals? I will glady pay the postage. Email me directly with info, please.
I checked the Wayward forums and they don't seem to fulfill my need. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I am still waiting... now very very excited as they should be close.. .as everyone else in Aus have started receiving theirs!
If anyone wants anymore from Australia, please let me know.. I am happy to send a few on.. I have already promised a few from private messages and hope to have them in the mail on Friday!
This is the one ray of sunshine in a troublesome world for me at the moment. I can't think the sisters enough for the banter and light discussion on this forum!
