Well, I spent the whole afternoon delighting over all my HSTs - I was alone in the house, but occasionally I found myself talking out loud to them! "Oh! You're so nice!", "I love you!" "Wow! What a combination!" "Oh, boy I've never seen one like you before, where will you go?!" And once or twice an out loud laugh as in LOL giggle! What fun! I got a few internationals- and 43 states! I did receive some duplicates, but If you gals don't need them, I'm going to use them all! Let me know if you want/need extras as I have plenty! Thank you all so much, I cherish these little bits of fun and friendship always. Now, I need to 'listen' to them talk back to me as I turn them into something wonderful. It's going to be hard to stick to my deadline to finish my grandson's quilt for his third birthday, (early June) and based upon yesterday, I don't have that much discipline. Not a thing got done - dishes, laundry, mail, etc. But a boy only turns 3 once, so, I am motivated.

Hooray, the HST have landed here as well.
I have just returned from a day away and they were there in my mailbox.
I will need to calm down before I open them to see all the beautiful goodies.
I am home all day tomorrow and intended to do some housework, but guess what I will be doing instead :?: :?: :?: I will let you know how I am progressing later on. Thank you to everyone who made this exchange possible.
Hugs, hugs, hugs

Duh - saw the postman arrive this morning but didn't really think about what he was carrying, he put 2 letters through the letter box which I thought was the sum total of my delivery. After reading that others in the UK had received theirs I was feeling a bit  Then after dinner this evening I had a  Go and look in the porch, and there they were sitting on the doorstep waiting for me
See you around sometime folks I am off to commune with my hst's 8) It has been great fun participating in all the chat and getting to know everyone else in the Sottts group and I am sure that there are some more songs that ought to be posted soon
Especial Thanks to Debbie & Clara for stepping up and hosting this exchange, all they need now is the 'been there, done that' t-shirt 8) to go with their new 'sunhats' . And I hope that we can work out an easier way to host exchanges of this scale - I have an idea of how it could be done a bit differently, but am waiting feedback from this one first.

Glad to hear that so many packages of our treasured HSTs have found their way back home!
It's such a delight to read all the posts & think about the Happy Dances!!
I was getting goose bumps from all the excitement!
Hope to meet many sisters (and brothers?) in Houston or sometime, somewhere!
Love y'all,
(from way down south in Georgia, USA)

They are in Germany.
Today I have received two packages from the USA. I have immediately started to sort with my friends. I have SWT from the USA, from Canada and from Australia.
From the USA I have received SWT from two sisters from Fort Wayne. This is amusing, because Fort Wayne is the partnertown of my hometown Gera.
Thank you to Debbie and Clara and all diligent assistant of the sorting.

Happy dance here also, as my HST's arrived today! I don't know what's more exciting - to see where they've all come from or the variety of fabrics - they're just lovely and I was especially lucky enough to receive signed ones from our TQS celebs - Ricky, Alex, Edyta and Margo! I'm amazed at the participation from so many places - can't wait to play. Kudo's to the organizers and "sorters" - can imagine it was no small task - thanks so much!

THEY ARE HERE REALLY REALLY HERE..... This morning at 8 a.m. my telephone rang and it was from downstairs the voice said he had a delivery I buzzed him in and ran into the hallway (in nightgown) so excited, only to discover it was fabric I had ordered and did not expect until Friday. With heavy heart I went off to work, thinking maybe tomorrow. When I got home from work there were two boxes in the mail box with a yellow sticker. I am so hungry but I had to open the boxes before I make supper, the first triangle out of the package was Mary Edith Kelowna BC go figure. Tomorrow I can use the word TRIANGLES, now I need the background for my quilt. Thank you so so much Debbie, Clara and all the helpers, Margo you are the best. Joan

Good news from Alberta, Canada! My triangles arrived today. I'm glad I was home or they would have gone to the post office and I would have had to wait until tomorrow to pick them up. My triangles are wonderful. Thanks to everyone for making this such a great exchange, and especially to the sorters for undertaking this monumental task.

You aren't alone with talking out loud to yourself, and I am also content with what I received. Duplicates and all. There was no guarantee that duplicates wouldn't happen, and its all part of the "gamble". I got the amount I sent in, and all is good.Originally posted by crocus999Well, I spent the whole afternoon delighting over all my HSTs - I was alone in the house, but occasionally I found myself talking out loud to them! A huge thank you and kudos to the sorters. My HST arrived today and spent a few minutes admiring the bounty before returning to the tasks at hand for tonight. Just wanted to send a quick note to say they arrived and how appreciative I am to everyone who facilitated the exchange. Cannot wait until I get a block of time to play. Cheers Heather

I was so sure that my hsts would arrive today after reading of all those that have arrived in Canada and also some overseas. I went to the mailbox and was so happy to see the key to the large compartment!
I opened the compartment...and it wasn't for me.
No HSTs yet! It was something my daughter ordered! I am still waiting.
