I have one HST that I can't identify.
It's a medium/medium, in the purple family, on Thangles paper and the label looks like 911 Kitchen, or maybe 911 Katchen, maybe All Kitchen :?: :?: Does anyone have a clue what this could be? A country? A city? :?: :?: I searched mapquest and also tried screen names but no success. Thanks.....

You made me doing the ugly cry
You know the crying when your face turns into something from a horrormovie?!! I recieved LOTS of HSTs today. I do not know where to begin to say thank you to all of you as I am still kind of dizzy after participating in "the horrormovie". And i LOVE LOVE the special notes some of you made for me!
Luckily the "flooding chapter" is over  I have not bought any new fabric, but I have bought a few books and a new camera with 2 extra lences. You might know the start of this year has not been good, the flooding was just a start. My dad had his kidney removed due to cancer, but he is doing real good. No additional treatment needed. My sister had surgery yesterday, she has cancer too, but it was reconized in a very early stage so the DRs says she will be just fine. And I, I had my 2nd surgery in 6 weeks on Thursday. Apart from all this life is just wonderful
I decided after all these events, this is the time in life to be real nice to myself. If I do not take care of me and make myself happy no one will (except from a lot of wonderful TQS-friends), so yesterday I made a 20 year old dream come true: I ordered a longarm 8)  I know now I will need it as those HSTs will make a BIG quilt
I am also doing the final arrangements for my 4 weeks celebration of myself this fall: Visiting with wonderful friends met trough TQS, takeing quiltclasses and going to Houston.
Thank you again, all of you
If someone would be so nice to send me a message telling me how to put pictures in the blog I will smile even wider than I am now.

Just got home from my guild meeting and I keep promoting the TQS website. Maybe a couple of new ones will try it out.
Where do we find Susan's address so we can send her some of our HST's???????????????
Maryjo
Send me a private message with the amount and I will send you her address. Thank-you!

Congratulations on your new long-arm! We want pictures of that too!!
So glad to hear that you will be in Houston!!!

Hi all,
I posted a picture of Ladies of the Sisterhood of the Travling Triangles quilt... so far. Just two rows.

I hope this works, it is the first time I tried it and after printing off Margo's directions, of course I couldn't find them.

Loved the block--must say I was looking to see if any of my HST's were in your block. Like the way the pattern looks--hummmm---more decisions---what to do--what to do!!! Thanks for sharing.

I think most of you are going to much more work documenting than I am. I am going to tell the story of our two hst's exchanges, the numbers and countries involved on my label and leave it at that. Shock, I think I will even throw the papers away. But I will remember all the love sent along with each hst and all of our messages. This will be a very special quilt to me!!
