Yesterday when I got home from work my package was waiting for me. It was fun to see where the HST had came from. Now to get busy with but not this weekend. One of my quilting friend's funeral is on Saturday and then to see my youngest all dressed up for prom--he has been waiting to wear a tux for so long.

my sincere condolences on the loss of your friend
isn't it wierd how we can have days with such oppsites - the sadness loosing a good friend (coupled with the joy of having had that friend join on a part of our life), then the joy of seeing a child grow up and sharing such an important day (this time coupled with the sadness of his leaving childhood behind)...

          Re JuanitaB:
count me in - keep us posted and i will pop some hsts into an envelope for this sister too...

Cath, I just looked at your profile, not that I should be surprised but I'd never heard of "Virginia" in Australia! my BIL is from southeast of Melbourne so I'm a bit familiar with Victoria but not much more. So we can be "Virginia" sisters maybe!! Did you mark your HST's? I'll go back & look, I know I got several from OZ!

Must go now & work on the layout, I realized I'll be at a conference for 3 days next week and my Featherweight is just dying to go with me, HST blocks would be a perfect travel project!
I certainly did mark my triangles, although as "Brisbane" I think... prccath, Brisbane Australia... didn't expect anyone to know Virginia, a suburb on the north side of Brisbane. Love to be your "Virginia Sister" though..

Also, I'd be happy to send some more over. We don't have ours yet, so don't know if I have extras, but would be happy to send some anyways, even if I sent some left overs I have.

            Thanks

I emphatically agree & second that motion!
Don't want anyone to have any bad/hurt feelings over this truly wonderful exchange.

Dearest Debbie and Clara, - I couldn't agree more with Katiezquiltz! I, too, received some duplicates, triplicates, and yes even some quads, so let us know about your solution to this problem so we can help because we're all sisters/brothers here, and everyone should come out of this whole wonderful HST exchange feeling happy!

Big bear hugs, Debbie and Clara, for your fantastic generosity :!: Bless you both :!: :!: :!:

Hold off a little bit on coming to Debbie's rescue. We might have a resolution that will work. Give us a little time. We will let you know if we need your help. Clara

I agree with all of you, no one needs to be short. I received the same number I sent in but have many doubles, I also make extra and can send from Iowa.

The sun is finally out this morning so should be a good day in eastern Iowa.

DEBBIE and CLARA - I certainly hope your resolution isn't to send her yours!!! I'm joining the voices that will be glad to send triangles to this lady. If 40 ladies of the 540 or so participants send send 10 triangles each - that is 400. That should work no problem.

LEADERS - we want to help - you have done enough! Get us an address and let us step up and help! I'm sure I speak for other ladies as well. Will wait to hear - we just don't want to hear that you two - don't have any left!!!

                        I would send some too.

I too will be more than happy to send HST's to the "sister" that was short. With all these offers of help, please don't send her yours.

Thanks to everyone who is being so generous in wanting to share their own HSTs. Seriously though, Clara and I are working on fixing this for Juanita and it should be accomplished to everyone's satisfaction.

However, if we do find we are going to be short, we promise to let you know.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Sisterhood!

I, too have some doubles that I can share. As well some extras that I made to fill out my quilt that I'm planning.
