Nancy, you are really too much! I think I am speaking for Clara also, but we really don't need anymore sent to us personally, please.Originally posted by NancyWOh ladies, I think starting a new Forum topic for those that want to try and share extra HSTs is wonderful, but I assure you that on my post about being sure Clara and Debbie had enough, I never intended that either one of them should try to reunite any of the triangles with anyone. They have certainly done enough.
I just picked up on the fact that both of our leaders are going to be a little short and I don't like that idea. If you're willing to make a few extra triangles for Debbie and Clara, please get in touch with me personally by e-mail and I'll coordinate this effort. I have both of their addresses and will send them a surprise package - just like we're going to be getting. Even just a few from right many ladies will make a nice gift!! Any takers?
E-mail me and we'll talk!

I received my package today and what a treat! I will have to tell you that when this began, my thoughts were that it would be fun to see what fabrics I would get back and from where. Somewhere along the way, in our over ninety pages of posts, it went from "just a fun thing to do" to "something very personal and wonderful" because I got to know so many participants by their posts. I plan to do what Scoopie is doing with hers, printing it on fabric and making it part of the backing fabric. This quilt will be treasured. ALSO, I've realized that there's a lot of beautiful fabric out there and it's not in my stash!!!

Are you sure, Debbie. I have already heard from several ladies who are more than willing to help. We will do what you and Clara really prefer. We just wanted to be sure you were treated as fairly as all of us when it came to this exchange!Originally posted by NaneeWolfNancy, you are really too much! It's a happy day today in Soddy Daisy, Tn
My package arrived and I was so surprised!! Didn't expect anything for another week or so because I sent 616 and thought they would come in the last group. Many thanks, blessings and hugs to Debbie, Clara and all their helpers...even with the photos and explanations, I just can't imagine how this huge task was accomplished in such a short amount of time...whew!!!!
And, thank you to my fellow SoTTTs for the lovely array of rainbow colors that came from my package...I appreciate all of you!!
I imagine there will be a huge sigh of relief when that last package is sent on it's way?????

Originally posted by ladyzPersonnally, I think everyone should be very happy with their packages and if the number is not the same so what!! We should not make a big deal of this! I don't think we should even be counting, just enjoying!!!
I'm with you, ladyz, on this one! Debbie and Clara have donated unlimited hours of their time and energy and handled thousands of our HSTs for the past 3 months! They're going to need a big break! Let's not worry about HST nickel and diming! and just be happy for everything all of us have shared together the past 3 months because of Debbie and Clara.   I'm looking forward to whatever shows up in my mailbox whenever it gets here!

WHOO-HOO!! Mine came today too!!
But I have a problem!! My husband has taken the entire lot and is drooling on them as we speak!!! He's pulling them out one at a time and reading them to me!
I'll get to play with them after supper!
Many thanks and hugs to all!
PS....MOST HUMBLE APOLOGY! Apparently I stitched in a hurry and one set has been stitched with the wrong side showing.
ops: Sorry!!!!
Hope you like the "other" side of the fabric.

What is it about my guys??? The same thing happened when I bought my first Bernina! Our youngest son unpacked it and I was hardly allowed to touch it for a whole week while he tried out EVERY stitch the machine would do, and made me a reference sampler on fabric to show me what each of the stitches looked like!
He grew up to be an engineer! Yes...he's made several quilts too! Gotta love it!

See if my hubby grabbed the bag and started going through them I would also see other things happen too. His arm would be outstretched to keep me away, he would be grinning (one of those mischievious ones), and making lots of ooohs and awesss without telling me why. His little horns would be showing as he was teasing me. And yes, he would be having lots of fun doing this. Clara
