Okay I am feeling a wee bit jealous-- it was -24 C here today and is to be below -30C tonight. I think I should move south! It is a great day for quilting though!Originally posted by ClaraLawrenceThanks. I'm having fun with this. We are 77 degrees and will be having a deck building party at our place this weekend. Ooof. ClaraOriginally posted by QUILTINGANGIEI am enjoying Clara's sense of humor! Life is too short to take it so seriously, ain't it! Hope everone is having a little preview of spring, we are in the 70's with sunshine. I have on my short and flip flops. Angie

That’s what us quilters do without thought of any payback. We put our hearts and love into the stitching for our friends and I think we have proved that everyone in the Sisterhood and TQS are our friends, even though we are scattered all over the world.Originally posted by BrinkOfNorwayI cant belive how busy u girls are,,,,and I can not express how honored I am!!! SoTTTs Member,
I'd like to suggest  that rather than dropping your package into a mailbox, you take it to your local post office to post & mail. At that time you can talk with the postal clerk about what postage is needed for your return envelope.
Thanks,
Debbie

Although I have never had the pleasure of meeting you as many Sister’s of the THST; I have never met a quilter I haven’t enjoyed. It is my pleasure to make some HST’s for you; I just hope you like them and can use them. The thanks will be to make yourself a quilt, use it and enjoy it. I hope you have a quilt book you put photos of all the quilts you have made along with a little story about them and can include the story about this one as well. "A little love and care to come with each square”, oops their HST’s oh well, you get the point! Can’t wait to see what it looks like!

Well, got all the squares sewn, labeled and went to the basement to cut them Thursday evening only to find out my sump pump had decided to go on vacation while all the snow was melting! Have been nursing it along for several years with duct tape, chop sticks, rubberbands and constant adjustments, but this time it had somehow come disconnected from the output pipe!! So, my 11 yo and I had to get it reconnected and have spent the last 3 days trying to dry the basement floor-couldn't get to my cutting area and my sewing machine without getting wet feet! So, today I bought a new pump and we will install it tomorrow. Was going to wait for the tax return, but nature has made it jump line! But, now can get back to the cutting area and will get them done and ready to mail. May keep them until after my guild meeting so I can show them something else I do with all the scraps I pick up off the donation table! (Is very nice to have dry feet and did not loose anything as I had already elevated most things due to the pump's going out when I would be asleep.)
Am having so much fun reading the notes from everyone. I do feel for you gals with the negative temperatures, we were there a couple of weeks ago and I basically hibernated! Today was sunny and in the hi 40's, and just a afew piles of dirty snow left! (And we are in NE Indiana-almost into Ohio and Michigan.) So, it is moving north!
