My electric stayed on (daughter has tv quite LOUD) and I have stitched for 6 hours today. Since I am making my HST's literally from scraps, the Thangles have worked quite well for me. I plan to keep going until I have used up the complete package so will have 250, which I will then figure how many to send. I know I will be tempted to keep the ones I think are neat and so it will be hard to let them all go! Bev Fort Wayne IN USA with 12" snow and don't know how deep the drifts are-don't care as long as my driveway is cleared!!

Double check the guidelines in the front for markings and the extra envelopes and stuff.

My Mom is coming this weekend for a sewing frenzy and fabric shopping. It's her first quilt and I'm soooo excited. She has gone with me for years to the Houston quilt show and it would be great to making of quilts with her as well.

              Happy quilting. Clara

I second that, Clara. The Tyveks can hold a lot and you can still put a return Tyvek envelope inside labeled & ready to send back to you. So far, most of the packages I've received have been Tyvek envelopes and those wonderful members have also enclosed their ready-to-go-back home envelopes! They are so much better than dealing with the bulky boxes!!!!

I am thrilled Alex and Ricky have joined in - a signature block would be awesome, but just having their blocks in our quilt is very cool! Thanks Alex and Ricky.

I am honored to be in this exchange with Edyta, Alex & Ricky and will be thrilled to have their signatures on the fabric.

Temps tonight & tomorrow night will be near zero here in Indianapolis. We had two ice storms this week so don't think there will be any melting soon. School cancelled again tomorrow for the third day. Thankful I don't have to go out.

Since we have participating members from all over the world, we need to allow enough time for postal services. Our deadline for sending your HST’s will be April 1st. However, if we find that postal services are slower than expected, we will be flexible when it comes to distributing the HST’s.

Receiving triangles from Edyta, Alex, and Ricky is the frosting on the cake for this exchange! Just mailed my 616 triangles and am so looking forward to my return package with triangles from everyone. This is unbelievably wonderful and exciting! It's my first fabric exchange of any kind and I can't wait to get started on my new Friendship Quilt!! Love Edyta's books and HST papers...they're worth every penny!
                            Happy quilting,

This is very exciting news...Alex Anderson is joining our exchange. She will be making enough HST's so there will be one for each member.

She said she would write "Alex' on each of the triangles, on the fabric rather than on the paper, but she would like to know if that's OK with everyone.

Hmmmm...I can't imagine we're going to have anyone say 'NO'  , but she's leaving it up to you!! What do you say???

I say Welcome, Alex and sign away!!!

Fantastic!!! I would love to see Alex's signature on our Traveling Triangles - front or back. So now we have Alex and Edyta joining the Sisterhood. How fun is that! Hopefully, Ricky will add to the Brotherhood...

I have to echo everyone's praises to all Debbie, Clara, and everyone else who has signed up to do the bulk of the arranging, sorting and distributing. You ladies are the best for handling all of this - and with such grace. Thank you!
Ricky, Alex and Edyta are all on board!!!! Woo Hoo! (He too will be signing HSTs) Clara
This is getting more awesome by the day. Thank you everyone involved for making this (my first) a fantastic exchange!!!
