I have just received my papers from Edyta and having fun choosing fabrics while I am waiting for the thread to arrive in the mail now. Very excited about Alex, Ricky and Edyta joining in.
The news from Queensland is better than what we were all expecting. They had a very rough night but it seems not as much damage as we were all dreading. Our thoughts have been with them all.

                  SoTTT's members,

Please help me remember which member posted that she was going to use her HST's to make a quilt for the Queensland victims. Several members are sending extra HST's to send to her and now I can't find that original post. I had written it down when people replied that they were going to send extras, but I've managed to lose that note. ops: ops:

I've tried going through the original Forum, but there are so many pages and posts, my eyes are starting to cross.

                  Help if you can, please.

                  Debbie

Debbie - My eyes are fuzzy now, but on page 67 there is a post by louisevickers about making quilts for the flood victims in Austrailia. I think this what you are looking for.

Thanks so much, Dawn. I thought it might have been Louise, but I couldn't find her original post. I appreciate you sacrificing your eyes for my benefit!

I have been sewing my HST's today (while I was baking bread, there was a lot of time to sew). Six sheets are done and maybe I will make four more. More than I originally planned... They are so fun to make and I thought it would also fun to recieve more HST's! For me sewing was easy, but I made mistakes on cutting. I will keep those bad cuts, they are usable, but not sendable (did I just invent a new word..? sendable?) I think I will get everything ready for shipping in two weeks, so earlier than last date.
It is good to hear that Australians are OK.
By the way, what is Groundhog Day? :?: (We don't have cyclones and Groundhog Days here in Finland, only lot of snow and cold..)

I agree Satu, the sewing is the easy part. You need to take your time and get everything lined up befor you cut.
