Received an email from Debbie stating she received my triangles, now I have 3 mo's to wait for a return package. Guess I'll have to find another project(s) to work on, maybe one of my many, many UFO's(?) This is my first time participating in an exchange and also of using the Forum. Never knew we had soooooooooooo many wonderful quilters out there. Many thanks to all the volunteers and the support groups. Looking forward to seeing what quilts and/or projects everyone comes up with. Might have to have a special Chapter for all of them.
Happy Quilting and many, many prayers to our Sisters and Brothers in Australia.

Yes, Edyta has been on board since we started this. If she has time, she'll probably sign her HSTs, too.

Whew!!! 500 HST down, 116 to go! Plus some for Austrailia flood (and cyclone?) victims. Then it's on to the Batik exchange! Thank you again Debbie and Clara, for all of the attention you have given to all of us! We appreciate everything you are doing so that we can have fun!

Ok, I'm almost there! I will be sending 10 sheets (280 HST) for the exchange and 3 sheets (84 HST) for the Australian flood victims.
In order to save time of writing name, town on EACH TRIANGLE, I printed off the info on some mini return address stickers using the Avery 5267 template. Thought that others might have something similar. Sure saved a ton of time for me!

Shipping Hint. For our from the USA. If you use the Tyvex envelopes to ship in, they work really great and are very lightweight. (That's how I'm going to ship mine) Please remember to bag your HST in an additional baggie. This is important for weather. Double check the guidelines in the front for markings and the extra envelopes and stuff.
My Mom is coming this weekend for a sewing frenzy and fabric shopping. It's her first quilt and I'm soooo excited. She has gone with me for years to the Houston quilt show and it would be great to making of quilts with her as well.
Happy quilting. Clara

Clara,
It sounds like a fun time is on the way to you and your mom! She'll love fabric shopping and sewing and you'll have a special bonding time to boot! My daughter and I have scheduled the following weekend for our HST adventure. She is a new quilter too! We took a beginning quilt class together this last August and she loved it! (It was my second beginner's class but you can never get enough pointers or practice in my book!)
