How many strips does it take to make a fabric angel like that? Barb will probably have enough with her exchange...

Margo...do you already have it figured out?

The angel was a great photo set-up, but all I could think about is who is gonna clean up that stuff and get it all sorted and folded!!

Spoken like the sewing space challenge queen! At a minimum, you probably would have to repress all of those strips to use them...ick.

My first thought was "what a neat quilt all those strips would make"! I have been on a "use up the strips and scraps tangent" and all I get is more scraps! Bev

I fell in love with Edyta's Mountain Top when I first saw the video. Ordered the pattern and now I am trying to get UFOs off the table and ready when HST arrive.

I ordered one of Edyta's books and I can't wait to decide on a pattern!

I am leaning towards the Garden Path in Edyta's book. I want to wait until I see the HSTs before final decision. All the designs are beautiful. Grandbabies are here. Gotta go.

                    FWIT (for what it's worth)...
A small group that I belong to has started exchanging HSTs also! Last week we traded our first set, and I thought you might like to see what I did with 100 of the first ones I've received. This block is 20" x 20" finished size.

I too have no real idea - except I love Margo's applique in her project and will be including something similar in the border.. I also know where the quilt is going to hang. Our house is 2 level with internal stairs with two very long flat walls on either side. I have often thought I would make a quilt for the wall, but the inspiration has never occurred. Well at least, I have always been too busy making everyone else's quilts.. This one is for me and will live on that wall reminding me of the friends I have made through TQS across the world.

Margo, your block is so pretty. Great idea for using the friendship triangles.

That block took 100 squares....hmmmm....guess I won't be making anything very large with my 448 squares! May have to rethink the project I had in mind! Bev (Ft Wayne, IN,USA)
