I never liked the idea of partitioning and would love to hear how you like Quilt Pro. Maybe we need another FORUM topic for us MAC users, or is there one out there that I just haven't found?Originally posted by debkendallI just ordered Quilt Pro for Macs http://www.quiltpro.com/go.php?id=qp5mac_features. I'm expecting it to arrive any day. I have used EQ on my previous Mac by partitioning the hard drive to run Windows so I could use Windows programs. I have the latest version of EQ but I haven't installed it yet. I would much rather use a Mac-friendly program so I decided to try Quilt Pro.Originally posted by leafyWish I had EQ....but it doesn't work on Macs.
Anyone have a good program for designing on a mac?

Hi, Everyone!
When I read that Edyta, Alex, and Ricky were joining in the fun, I immediately thought of 3 Sunbonnet Sue's (one each to represent Edyta, Alex, and all other sister quilters) and one Overall Ricky (to respresent Ricky and our brother quilters) all dressed up in their respective triangle dresses/overalls. They would be set like Edyta's Medallion quilt complete with hands holding each other to respresent the international friendship. (Possibly one Sun Bonnet Sue and one Overall Ricky would do the design well too.) Then, again, I might consider a beautiful, giant angel made from the triangles. I also like the above Ocean Waves idea.

This quilt is my version of Alex's Scrappy Nine Patch. The pattern and directions are in her book: Finish It available here:Originally posted by crocus999Maybe everyone has already seen this - but I just looked at Alex Anderson's web profile and she has a neat scrappy nine patch that uses lots and lots of HSTs. It's worth a peek. (I only found out that she actually has a profile)
https://alexandersonquilts.com/cart/...3&cat_id=2

(The glowing effect in the borders is achieved by using a gradated fabric with light in the middle and dark at the corners.)

Thanks Margo - I wasn't sure how to tell people to take a look at it, but there you go!! Poof! It appears! Oh my, Margo...... Nice quilt! Beautiful.
As far as what I will make out of the HST's...... Will have to wait and see what I get back for color/fabric. Definitely something out of one of Edyta Sitar's books.
To anyone interested, there is a nice article on Edyta Sitar in the April issue of American Patchwork & Quilting.

The copyright police would probably come after me if I scan that page and copied it here, so I'll just have to tell you that it was a photo of Edyta lying on her back on a hardwood floor with a bazillion little bits of fabric surrounding her. The fabric had been pushed away from her body as if she had been lying in snow and moved her arms and legs to create a snow angel, but it was fabric that was pushed aside. Cute image!Originally posted by ritzyCan you show us the fabric angel?
