Shirley, We will try our best to make sure that everyone does get some from the other countries, but maybe not every country. When you consider the enormity of the sorting effort, I'm sure you'll understand why. And, consider if only one country has one member participating and they only send in a hundred or so...there are 615 members, the math just doesn't add up.

O.K. guys, I have the easiest solution for everyone........ready?........just dump them all on the table and start throwing them up in the air!
What? you don't think that will work? Ahhh but it would be so much fun. Hee Hee.
Nah....just kidding. We love our organizers. Hope you still love us when you are done.

Not a bad idea at all, thanks Sugarmuffin! Or we could dump them all of the floor and make "HST' angels like Edyta's fabric angel in the April issue of American Patchwork & Quilting. It's a really cool picture and article...check it out.
Sure is something to consider :!: :!: :!:

Besides the fact that 615 does not divide into increments of 28!

In the directions it says to press them after you get them all done and cut. I pressed on the fabric side and the point of the paper curled. I tried the paper side and it seems fine. Is that o.k. or is there a reason to press on the fabric side?
Thanx,
Karen

I found that it's lots easier to heat set the stitched seams with a hot dry iron BEFORE I cut them apart. I pressed from the fabric side and it made everything lie nice and flat before I cut out the triangles on the lines.

I feel like one of those little kids on the Disney commercial. . . I'M SO EXCITED!!!! I can hardly wait. I have been looking feverishly for my HST papers in the mail and finally went to the website to check my cart. Now that I actually completed the transaction they should be here soon and I will be able to get mine done and out! This is the first time I have ever done anything like this and I really appreciate all the work of the organizers.

I can help, if somebody provides me with the flight ticket (UK to US and back) and explains to my Headmaster why I have to be away during term time ("Sir, it's vitally important that Lorchen gets at least a week off. The future of about 600 quilters depends on thousands of fabric triangles getting sorted into little bags!!"...... I can just see his raised eyebrows and puzzled look....).
Can't wait to see pictures of the sorting process sometime in April. From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood

My paper is on the way and since watching the video of Edyta with Alex and Ricky I am eager to begin.
Is there an icon or button available for use on my blog to help spread the word of this fabulous fabric frolic to spread the enthusiasm for future exchanges??
