ACK! I can't find the specifications post. What size are the finished HST supposed to be?ops: )
But remember, you are not going to open the triangles or tear the paper off. When your finished sewing and triming, press it while it is folded so it wil set the threads. And please, please, please do NOT open or tear the paper off. That should ensure that all the HST's will arrive to their final destination just as neatly as they left your homes.
I'm sorry I keep harping on this particular topic, but it is very important and needs to be adhered to. Thanks!

I tried posting to this group last night but I don't think it went to the correct place. Anyway I definately want to participate in this exchange. It reminds me of the exchanges that were going on around the year 2000. I collected so many beautiful fabrics and got to know many interesting quilters from everywhere. Thanks for organizing.

There are going to be an unbelievable number of blocks to sort! Thank you in advance to those who have volunteered to help. If I lived closer I would love to do that too. I've never done a block exchange before but if you are open for suggestions, I would suggest to sort for those who send the least and most first. That way those who send the least will get a good variety and those who send the most should get at least one from most participants. There should still be plenty of variety left for the middle group. Those who send as many as there are participants are probably anticipating getting one back from each. Many of us will probably be sending blocks from more than one fabric which will give an extra variety to give back to those who send the largest number of blocks. Good luck! My fabrics are cut and I'm waiting for the time to do the sewing.

Basically they will be 2" finished size HST using Edyta's triangle paper.

With this many participants it sounds as if 'borrowing' a school classroom to lay out all the envelopes might be an idea. A dining table is just not going to be big enough (unless it is in the White House  ), and the floor can be a killer to the knees and back. good luck to you wonderful co-ordinators for taking this on

We have the potential for 3 good size tables. We may have to make a couple of waves, but I think we have a solid plan.
Thanks for the ideas.Clara

From what I've seen, this project is in VERY capable hands! DEBBIE AND CLARA ROCK!!
