Let's pretend for a moment. We have 284 quilters on board and they do 84 HST each do you have any idea the number of HST that will be exchanged. Don't go running for your calculator because I have mine right here. 23,856 HSTs
We really do have 284 signed up and it will be a mystery in the final number. I bet we will get 300 quilters by the time I wake up tomorrow morning.
For now. Good night and happy sewing!

It's so exciting that everyone wants to write their city/state/country on their papers, and it's even more exciting to see all the
ideas  being offered to save us time when doing it. What a SISTERHOOD and BROTHERHOOD we have become!
Now we need more ideas   on how to fix the packages for them to be returned Internationally.
The U.S. Post Office has Priority International Flat Rate Boxes and Padded Envelopes. The cost to send a Padded 12-1/2" x 9" Envelope to countries other than Mexico is $13.95. Unless you're sending thousands of HST's, that envelope such be sufficient. When my daughter was in Perth, we used the envelopes and boxes and stuffed them full! The padded envelope would help to prevent damage too. With these flat rate packages, the person sending the HST's can go also on-line and fill out a label to send with the HST's
When using the International Flat Rate service, you can go to the U.S. Postal Service site and fill out mailing labels. This label would need to be sent at the same time you send your HSTs.

I wouldn't mind picking up some envelopes and labels, but we'd need to figure out a way to pay for the cost of this postage. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as an International Money Order??? No personal checks please.

Probably the easiest answer to that, besides an IRC, is Paypal. Anyone who has a checking account or credit card and an email address can sign up, and since we're an online organization, that does indicate a certain level of computer proficiency. Paypal is very easy to use and international friendly. If you need them to send you $13.95 US, that's what you ask for. Paypal will work out what to take out of someone's checking account in their equivalent currency. Keep in mind there is a fee for a Paypal transaction (minimal) and add that to the $13.95.Ellen Lindow

I found information on the U.S. Postal Service Website about International Reply Coupons. If you're out of the U.S., check out this link and then check with your local Postal Service to see if they offer similar International Reply Coupons. We had a lady from Norway or Finland (I can't find the post now) who also suggested the International Reply Coupons.

Can all the triangles we send be the same, or does each page have to be different? Will we get back pages of triangles, or all sorts of different triangles?
Remember that you won't be sending on whole pages of triangles...you'll be cutting them into individual HSTs and you will be getting different ones in return. Please don't send in whole sheets of triangles because we won't have time to cut them apart. Be sure to rewatch Edyta's segment of the show that explains the process of setting up your fabric and papers and then cutting and trimming.
The instructions for preparing your HST's can also be found in the Guidelines in the 1st post on the 1st page of this forum and also in my Step-by-Step instructions on Page 14 (I think it's page 14  ). If not, check Pages 12, 13 or 15...it somewhere in that area.
