This is the second quilt I've made from this pattern I found in Quiltmaker magazine from 2007. I gave away the first one and luckily found the pattern again before Halloween this year! Can't you just see a couple of ambitious dogs going Trick or Treating?

I designed a character (my alter ego if you will) that I like to put on quilts. I like to use her name "Tessa" in the title somehow. We had a Halloween guild challenge one year, and I decided that Tessa should be Frankenstein

Here is a wall hanging I have been working on. Still not quilted and bound, but I really liked it when I found it in Fons & Porters Love of Quilting, Sept/Oct 2008. I planned on finishing it this year, but ran into too much other stuff to keep me busy.

I made this Halloween quilt from a purchased panel and scraps from another quilt. I think I've met each of these dogs personally.

I so love your creation and have tried to figure out a way to sneak it out of your house to mine! I know I'm so bad......

JoJo..... I guess I will have to keep a close eye on my front door so it doesn't "disappear" on Halloween night! LOL

Last Halloween I had my 4 grandchildren draw their own pumpkins and then I fused and appliqued them on a door quilt for them. They have it hanging again this year and are still excited at their artwork!

I love quilts for holidays that tell a story, however small. So Happy Halloween and BOO! to everyone.
