    Halloween Show & Tell

Let TQS see your scariest halloween quilt, table runner, table topper, or home-made costume and let's see if we can scare the ghouls and goblins away this Halloween season. It's easy to submit a photo of your ghastly creation, just select the Upload attachment tab on the middle section of your screen. Hit the Choose File button to select the photo off of your computer and then press the Add the file button. If you want to know what your post is going to look like, hit the Preview button. Once you are happy with your post, hit the Submit button and you're done. Come on, scare us to death!

Okay, so this isn't really all that scary, but it is "Halloweeny!" This was a holiday challenge from Carol Doak's Yahoo paper-piecing group. We could choose whatever holiday we wished to represent. It's 17.5" square.

I have a collection of Halloween blocks from a Baker's Dozen exchange last year, but have not yet put them together to make a quilt. So, I will share an awesome Halloween quilt I saw on Pink Penguin's blog here--> http://ayumills.blogspot.com/ You'll have to scroll down the page a bit to see it.

      Enjoy!

Not too scary, but the pumpkin heads in my quilt look like they saw some scary trick or treaters go by them

            Hi Margo,

The quilt at the link I gave is made from a different Vintage Spool Halloween pattern too. They both are great patterns. Thanks for sharing the links. I'll have to check out the other non-Halloween patterns there.

This was from a Fons and Porter magazine. Our group had a challenge to make something from a random magazine that was passed out to them.

This was a round robin project in our Applique Society group. It was the most fun I have had making a quilt!!!! The growth in creativity was very freeing!

I'm lucky enough to be a longarm quilter, hence I get to see many quilts I haven't had time to piece myself. Here's one block of a customer's "HocuspocusVille" that I just loved. Her embroidery was the perfect foil for creative quilting.
