Brink - I can't believe so many people are interested already. With 25 or so people you will have such a variety of skills and interests that your meetings will be great fun.
Good luck and be sure to keep us posted on how things progress.

Yooohooo...first meeting over All the 25 girls showed up...and a few more are interested in joining us. I was so busy at the guildmeeting, helping out 3 girls who have never done any quilting earlier that my camera stayed in my bag  ops:
The 3 newbies left happy...well on their way to make tablerunners or place mats. First time handeling a rotary cutter can be scary, but they did a GREATE job!!
Now...I promise to take pictures next time!!! When everything is up and running smoothly we will make our own website so you alll can come visit us

Hanne-Grete, Sounds like fun! congratulations. We look forward to hearing what name you come up with for your guild. I joined an already existing guild called "Country Neighbors" and wish it had a more interesting name. A friend belongs to a small group they call the Seamly Six. Isn't that cute?

Pick a fun name and let us know!

Your guild name is: "Snertne sneller"...and I guess that need some explenation

A spool of thread is in Norwegian: traad-snelle
and "snelle" is a nick for a rather good looking girl

So in english our name is:

              Smashing spools
