            Thanks, Renata ! I've really gotten sucked into the Civil War reproduction fabrics ! They are so warm and comfortable !
            I sort of follow the pattern picture...but using what the shop has available and what's in my collection. This one was a
            paper pieced block..I printed on Stable Stuff and left it in ! Worked just fine ! Hard part was figuring out how to quilt it as
            the designer does not give indication of what might be historically appropriate. Well, phooey ! Anybody have good titles
            for that kind of info ? That really is a red in the cornerstones tho' it looks quite orange in the photo !

                Lois..16 x21.... 4 inch blocks...but paper pieced so are pretty easy to do ! That pile of UFOs is big ops: and
                I haven't even got down to an older one yet !! :roll: These have all been done in the last year or so ! :shock:

                  I don't do too much at night any more, Rita....eyes get too tired ! But it has been so hot that once I get the garden tended..
                  it's inside to sew !! I guess I could clean house ..yikes ! NO..quilting wins !!

                                Woohoo! My next ex-UFO! I started this back in 2009. I enjoyed Alex's classroom where she talked about neutral fabrics so I got her book. I collected neutral fabrics on the shop hop that year in San Antonio. I got most of the top done that year. Last year finished the top and had it basted. Just finished the quilting and binding. Though before quilting I did unsew the inner border and replace it with the fabric that is there now. Before it was scrappy and blended too much and you couldn't even see it.
