A cool new website..print your own fabric designs
Hi Everyone,
I came across this webiste today and thought I would share it you.
The website is http://www.spoonflower.com. You can upload your own artwort and print the fabric in any size you choose. Its a little pricey but no pricer than trying to do it yourself.
I havent received my first order yet but I will be sure to post back and let you all know.
(This isnt an ad for spoonflower by the wayI have no affiliation with them whatsoever)

I've been eyeballing this web site with plans to try it out. But I procrastinate. The designs on site look great. Hubby Mike will be on a week long hunting trip next week. Maybe I'll find time to get a design sent in. I would be interested in hearing from anyone else who has tried this service. I have only had success at home with no larger than 10 inch squares. A whole yard at 42 inches makes me tinglely all over. Betty Ann in perfect Florida.

Bettyann,
Not sure if you ever heard from anyone who has tried spoonflower..... this being an old post.
I myself am addicted!! All though they are a bit expensive {I think} they are the only place online like them. There are other places where you can have your designs printed to fabric {cost about the same} but not sell your designer fabric too. And your own design on fabric for others to make into gorgeous creations how cool is that!
They are a great group of folks great at responding to questions ....real people answer you. Different and nice for a change after all the automated responses I've had other places! LOL
They been doing alot of changes lately new silk cotton fabric....new website design...some other changes. They have a fabric of the week contest 100 dollars of free fabric if you win! An I Been trying!!Thinking I ain't that good yet. LOL
If thinking of trying spoonflower.....I would recommend first buying their color swatch and fabric booklet. A 2 buck investment.
They make a tiny swatch book of all the fabrics they sell so you can see and feel ..what each fabric is like.
And the color swatch has over a hundred colors on it and how the colors truly print. Can be big difference sometimes between the look on PC screen and how it prints on the fabric.
Anyone want to know their way around over there just holler at me.
I can even recommend a free paint program to create or edit designs in... if you need one too ...PAINT.net
