Sorry to interrupt with booktalk again but I'm enjoying listening to "I've Got Your Number" by Sophie Kinsella so much! I HAD to tell someone. We did start a thread on the forum some years ago for reading but I couldn't find it and this was easierOriginally posted by suehenyonI've been happily listening for a couple of years, mostly from downloaded books from the library, but I got sooo tired of not finding what I wanted. I found Audible extremely easy to use. I put the books on a very little Ipod-mini (I think). It travels from room to room. Audible offers up sales and specials frequently enough that I've never been without a stockpile, but not too much.Originally posted by loise98" happy to go off topic" Me too! "Audible.com eh?" I went right over there. Perhaps I am getting ready to FMQ some UFO's.Originally posted by ReetzbobeetzThanks Andrée and Lois - it's so encouraging to get positive feedback. Susan, I am always happy to go off topic, in case you hadn't noticed.
Audible.com eh? Must go have a look...thanks.
One of the first books I listened to, while quilting, was 2001 Space Odyssey. It was awesome.
We could probably start a whole thread on this, but I'm chicken.
ops: . Anyway if you like Bridget Jones-y type stories you'll like this.

I had the pleasure of seeing Betty Jo's beautiful Noel Quilt at MAQF on Thursday. I am attaching a photo, but it will not do it justice because you probably won't be able to see the fantastic quilting and the crystals that sparkle in the night sky. Maybe Susan's picture will show more detail. I also saw Ricky's quilt, but must have been so taken by Betty Jo's I forgot to take a picture of his.

OK, I just got safely home. I had soooo much fun with Sue, who is almost as nuts as I am. The quilts were unbelievably gorgeous. Sue took the pics though. She had a new camera for a toy. It was so much fun to have my quilt there in the same area with Ricky's. I did take a picture of that and will upload it later. Thank you Lori for the pic and comments.
