All the circles under 1" i converted into 16th so we will be needing 8/16, 9/16, 11/16, 12/16, 13/16, 14/16. However I end up doing it I really don't think my eye will be able to tell the difference between 1/16". I have accuquilt dies that cut 1/2" and will use that for the 8/16 and 9/16 plus I have one that cuts 3/4" and will use that for 11, 12,and 13/16 - maybe even 14/16.

There is a Studio die that has the following circles on it:
3/16" (.5 cm), 7/16" (1 cm), 9/16" (1 cm) and 11/16" (2 cm)
the metric measurements are from the Accuquilt site, not my calculations. They don't give prizes for finding errors, I've tried
If you want to see a visual of the difference, go to accuquilt.com and search for die # 50232. On the monitor, the difference is quite noticeable. I wonder about my ability to draw anything so precisely.
Rita is right, it will take some tweezers to get those tiny ones glued down.

I will be looking for a stencil of circles to the 16th inch (for the circles that are not on any accuquilt die), at my local art and graphic supply store. I think that "steadler" does one. I'll let you know what i'm able to find.Originally posted by suehenyonThere is a Studio die that has the following circles on it:

This is what I have used for years for circles. I've seen them in Staples and Office Depot but you can order them online too.

Could you tell us where you found this Andree. Would save me a lot of running around when I go to the 'big city'. (i live out in the boonies)Originally posted by AndreeBergeronThis is the one I found, it is from "Rapidesign". It has the same circle sizes as the Steadler, and all the sizes Sue Nickel mentionned:
So, between this and some accuquilt dies, we should be OK.

OK, for those living in Canada (Québec), I found this at Omer De Serres (http://www.deserres.ca/en-ca/search/...e/page-1/20/2/). But this tool is made in USA, so I guess you can find this at any art supplies store, or on-line (http://www.artstuff.net/Rapidesign-R...ate_p_957.html)Originally posted by 2bnoelCould you tell us where you found this Andree. I had been musing about where I would get one of those here in Ireland and reckoned that I would have to try various office supplies shops. Then I happened to be looking through a folder in which I keep templates and lo and behold I already have one. I had completely forgotten I had it and have no memory of buying it. I bet that's never happened to any of you.

Cannot think of ever using one so I would probably be safe to buy one if I wanted to. The closest I have is this
and before anyone asks I have had it for over 20 years and have absolutely no idea if they are still available. (sorry the scan is so rubbish, but the measurements are metric for the circle drawing bits)
