Talk about KOOL 8) . Love the map and the BOM meeting. Wish I could be part of the group - but my first grandchild will have just arrived!!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: I must be arround to take all those pics. . I'm hoping to get back to the BOM this week - way behind with only 2 1/2 completed.
I will share the excitement from afar - so please keep us all posted on the events as they happen.

OK...this is what Sue had to say about the flag idea!

Too funny! I’d be glad to do it – size? ideas? Applique or just ink something on a piece of fabric that attaches to… radio antenna (mine is built into the window so that wouldn’t work) or just tape roll into a back window? Obviously it will have to have the TQS star on it… and what else? Tell everyone NO CIRCLES, I PROMISE!!!!

So....what do you think? Do we need a special logo for flags/hats/teeshirts?????????????

I don't do hats well, can never find one to fit, but I love tee-shirts!

Meeting in St. Louis for a bus trip would be great for me. I have a cousin who lives in an Illinois suburb. All the logistics still have a long time to ferment and come together.

I'm really getting excited about this. My only hope is that it is not held on Aug 7, 2009. My dad will turn 100 and is expecting a "party". Assuming he is still with us I will be with him.

I just watched the show with Sue and sounds like she will be doing another BOM for '09. Guess we'll all be kept busy!

And instead of a caravan, I think that meeting in St. Louis and taking one bus would be the way to go!!
The girls from the west can do the same thing from that side of the mountains!

Well, being the closest to La Veta, I can volunteer for the advance team responsibilities - maybe cold pitchers of margarita with snacks ready for you as the buses arrive in La Veta???? Knowing you creative girls, you'll think of some creative things for me to do to make it a fantastic event! :wink: Mary Kay
