Marge...I think you are right. It looks like a "dilly"...berries again  . I've finished 12 of my 47 October berries. Maybe I'll finish them and get started on July. I wonder about the size of the smaller berries, I guess they go at the end of the heart flowers. They look really small :x Oh, well, June was easy.Originally posted by quiltinggrandmaNancy, your block is lovely.
I believe the July block is the 3rd down on the right, and from the looks of it we'll be grateful for the easy one this month!

I must have missed the posting about the baby...what was it and how are he or she and mom?? You'll have some catching up to do when you get home!Originally posted by linmcquilterNancy, your block is great. Thanks for sharing! I can't believe you've finished already. I won't be able to start until I get back to my fabrics (in Arkansas). Probably there in a week or so.

I too anxiously waited for the June block to be posted. First thing Sunday morning I was on the computer printing the pattern. Before going to bed that night, my June block was fused. I'll have to order some thread for the satin stitch before it is truly completed. I'm slowly catching up with those that started in January.

Thanks for asking, Mommy and babe are doing fine - Adam is 9 days old! There are pictures posted in my blog, if you'd like a peak. They've had a lot of rain in NW Arkansas. We'll probably head back in a few days, then north to Wisconsin. I want to be back to Wisconsin by mid-June; the family is gathering for the 4th at our house! Including Adam, Miriam, and family. They are being really brave to travel when he's so young, but I know they're anxious for the rest of the (midwest) family to meet him! It's been such fun to share our joy with all of you - thanks for putting up with this proud (and happy) grandma!Originally posted by sandytnYou have an excuse, you are home. I know you are anxious to get home but also you are going to miss the family. Weather is beautiful today in TN, expecting to be close to 90 later this afternoon. We went from spring to summer real quick. Sandy in TN

Marge your colors are blending so nicely together. I really like how you staggered the stems in the June block. I saw your block this morning and thought "oh geez, I did it wrong. But you did it so cleverly different" Your idea worked out great.Originally posted by quiltinggrandmaMy June block is posted. This one was quite easy, but it looks like July will be much more challenging. Marge

June block is done and posted on my profile page. It was so much easier than all the others. Wished we had started off with this one..........except it is nice to have a little break from all those berries. I love, love, love Sue Nickels machine applique "by hand" techniques. I took a class from her 3 years ago in Paducah at MAQS.
