Yes, ladies, it is rickrack. I found it at the International Quilt Festival in Chicago. I think it is rayon and was hand-dyed by the lady I bought it from. Thank you for all the wonderful comments!

Whew! Finally got my February and my March blocks done! I was afraid that I was really going to be way behind...life got in the way of my Feb. block...I've been burning the midnight oil to get back up to speed. I have posted them in my profile. I really love these blocks, and I'm loking forward to April. I'm so amazed at the talent of all our participants. It's so much fun to be a part of all this, you are all such great inspiration!!

Still plodding along on the February block here. We were all sick last week with a bad upper resperatory infection and Katie had strep throat on top it  , then this week has been spring break for my girls so having the extra kids in the house full time has meant two weeks of little to no quilting  Summer time is different since I can kick the kids outside for a while, but it has been raining cats and dogs this week. Today is sunny but only 38 degrees - I still think I will kick them out for a while though this afternoon. I did go and buy some new red and brown fabrics in the last two days and hopefully once the kids are back in school I can get caught up. I'm hanging in there though 8)

Mandy,
I love you! ....I'm still on February as well. Life oft times interfers with quilting. The nerve.
Still plugging along,

You girls are so sweet!! Thank you for the kudos!! I must admit, I was running far behind too until this last weekend, Monday and Tuesday, my DH got a new guitar and he has been playing in his room and I've been sewing in my room.....we come up for air, food, potty breaks, and sleep!! I understand his addiction and he understands mine! We've been together for 32 years!!! Match made in heaven!! (Got both Feb & Mar blocks done !!)

Love the blocks Debbie! You and your husband sound like us - 35 years! When the kids moved out I claimed one room upstairs and he claimed the other!

I just wanted to let all of you know how beautiful your blocks are! I have posted Jan. and Feb. today. I am only planning on making nine blocks so that I will have a square wall hanging -- and it will fit on my wall. The March block is on my wait list until I see some of the others, although, after seeing all of your's, I may change my mind.
