Margo, I just looked at Sue Garman's blog!!!! The Christmas quilt is adorable and Rosenberry is phenomenal. I'm not crazy about small circles. Thanks for the link...also for Sharon's video about the glue tip. I'm going to try it.

I have posted pictures of Jan, Feb, and Mar. blocks on My Profile.
There are so many places to post but I don't think I posted anything about my March block here. At any rate - I AM SO I have the first 3 done and am ready for April. I did try to post my March block on My Blog - what a joke - a complete blur.

This is such a fun project and all the blocks are beautiful and inspiring.

Hello all, I'm back from a long Easter weekend at MIL's-- no computer, but plenty of time to sew! Thus, my March block is finished and posted... I'm not totally loving this one, and it ended up kind of lopsided, so it may have to be redone... but I'm going to give it time to grow on me
Things I learned on this one: back-basting really doesn't work with all of the over/under, but it works great when working with a directional fabric... I chose not to do the star in the same color as the roses, used a basketweave that I also used on the lip of the basket, but used the pink as the star's center, more like a jewel than a cutaway. Oh well, worth a try....

Florence your blog looks wonderful. I love how your added the rose color into the center of the star. This was the trickiest block so far. I had a couple times I had to tear things out to have things go under . I love the block though.

Florence, sometimes we are just too close to the block to see the real beauty that is there! Your rose buds look so real ! I could almost smell their lovely fraqrance! I like the bejeweled look to the center of the star. Take a look at the block in a few weeks, and I think you will like it much better!

Florence, I love your block! Like someone said before, look at it for awhile and then decide if you want to change anything. The wonderful thing about applique is that you can applique over applique!

Also, you mentioned the berries in your border. Scroll down on Sue's blog page to see the Lily Rosenberry quilt! AMAZING!

Oh my goodness! I didn't realize that Sue Garman had designed Rosenberry. Her quilt guild brought the quilt over to San Antonio and sold raffle tickets at our meeting. I bought tickets for this quilt. It is even more awesome in person. The applique and quilting are amazing. The drawing is 26 April. I have my fingers and toes crossed!

Bonny, Great blocks! I really like the fabrics in your January vase. The black floral just sets it off!

Florence, your blocks are really stunning! I'm really impressed by all of the blocks with the dark backgrounds. They seem to make the bouquets pop!

                      Good work.

Florence, your block is beautiful. Don't be hard on yourself. I am guilty of the same thing, so I don't know why I admonish you!!

I finally got around to posting my BOM's in my profile. I've been having great fun doing them (needleturn), especially the February block. We vacationed in Mexico and I spent some lazy time by the pool in the shade appliquing the block. Had a couple of gals stop and check out what I was doing- probably thought I was a bit nutsy too, LOL! I have been enjoying seeing all the other wonderful blocks.
