Mary, I didn't get a chance to view your blocks until now. They're wonderful! I love the blue in them. We are in Calif, partly to escape winter! Home is Bayfield, WI. Ritzy that weaving is incredible! I agree the star would block too much of that, but if you wanted to go with the "every block has a star" idea maybe you could embroider a teeny-tiny star just center on the "lip" of the basket.
