            Judy,
Your March blocks are so pretty. I especially love the batik block- batiks are my favorites, just love all the color and richness of the fabric.

My March block is posted in my profile. I am thinking of leaving the star off what do you think? I did hand weaving on the basket and really like it!

Ritzy, your basket is wonderful, you are so creative. I agree with omitting the star on your block as you would cover too much of the great weaving! Pretty block!

We vacationed in Mexico and I spent some lazy time by the pool in the shade appliquing the block. Had a couple of gals stop and check out what I was doing- probably thought I was a bit nutsy too, LOL! I have been enjoying seeing all the other wonderful blocks.

Mary, I didn't get a chance to view your blocks until now. They're wonderful! I love the blue in them. We are in Calif, partly to escape winter! Home is Bayfield, WI. We'll be back the middle of April, but we're concerned winter will probably still be there! We would wait until May, if we could... it's been quite the winter there, hasn't it?

Gorgeous again Ritzy. I love how we can play with the vase. It looks like there are many more fun vases to play with coming up too. Bring on April.

Ritzy that weaving is incredible! I agree the star would block too much of that, but if you wanted to go with the "every block has a star" idea maybe you could embroider a teeny-tiny star just center on the "lip" of the basket.

I'd leave the star off or like Florence said embroidery a small one on the basket.
