    Hi,
I completed my large center block. Looking at month 12 springtime, there are 4 large flying geese, pink and white that are placed between the flower baskets. I do not see directions on how to make these and the measurements. If they are in the directions, please let me know which page. Otherwise, please let me know what the cut sizes are for these blocks.

    Thank you for the help.

They were made in Month 3.

Hi, I am putting the quilt together and when I cut the spacer strip 2.5 inch by 10.5 I was short, should it be 3.0 x 10.5 inches?

I agree, I think the spacer strip s/b cut @ 3” rather than 2 1/2”, so that the strip ends up being 30 1/2” unfinished.

Yes, the spacer strips should be cut 3” x 10.5”.

What should each of the 9 blocks measure? My center block measures 30.5 by 30.5 and the center top measures 30.5 x 25.5

      That is correct.
The 4 corners, upper left and right, lower left and right, are all 25.5” x 25.5” including seam allowance.
      The middle sections are 30.5” x 25.5”.
The quilt, before any borders, is 80.5” square, including seam allowance.

Take Barbara’s advice and triple check the orientation of the blocks as you sew the various sections. I just realized I made several mistakes in the four corners…and I swear they were in alignment when I started sewing!! I’ll face the unpicking tomorrow. Grr.

Hello, for various reason I am very late to the party, I have downloaded the patterns each month and I will remain a member of TQS next year, I would like to work on this as my BOM for 2026, will the videos remain on the site?

Not Lynn’s videos. My LIVE broadcasts remain available as do all of my blog posts.

I do not have enough of replacement fabric. I've wasted barely 1/4 of an inch cutting strips for four patch. Not enough for 80 21/4" squares.!

You must be using the Autumn kit. My suggestion: make the 4 corner blocks, Four Patch in a Star, from the original fabrics called for in the pattern. You should have enough from the Kit to make those 4. There is enough replacement fabrics for the remaining 16 blocks that are clustered close to north, south, east and west.
An email with this solution is expected soon to all Autumn kit folks.

I've made the correction for Spacer Strip on Month 12 cutting instructions. As I have been printing the instructions, but not started the quilt, I was wondering if there are any other pattern corrections in previous month pattern instructions?

      I don’t recall any others.

I did not see it corrected anywhere, but the instructions say for month 11 to make 20 blocks. It says to cut 10- 4" blocks to make the flying geese. You end up with enough for 10. You need to cut 20. I have the Autumn kit.

Since I used my own fabric, how can I tell where each block is supposed to go? It would have been easier if the pattern indicated which month went where. I don’t want to make mistakes and have to rip out seams.
