Purple Spiceberry & Gold Autumn Ridge Shortage in Autumn Kit
9/8/25 UPATE
We have learned that the gold Autumn Ridge fabric in your Laurel Ridge Grandmother's Autumn kit will also likely run a little short, and will be sending a piece of that fabric AND the Purple Spiceberry fabric to every one who purchased the Laurel Ridge Grandmother's Autumn kit. Please keep an eye on your email for a notification about it, and information about what to do if your shipping address has changed since your original order.
We are so sorry fo the inconvenience!
--------------------
We understand that our beautiful Laurel Ridge Quilt Kit in the Autumn colorway may be short on the Purple Spiceberry Fabric, and we sincerely apologize.
We completely understand how frustrating it can be to purchase a kit for a project that doesn’t include enough fabric, and we want you to know you’re not alone—we’ve always been here for you, and we always will be. Your satisfaction means everything to us, and we're committed to making sure you have all of the fabrics required to complete your quilt.
We were genuinely surprised by the miscalculation of fabric needed for this project. Lynn is carefully reviewing the pattern, and we have sourced the additional fabric to get this resolved as quickly as possible. Your trust means the world to us, and we’re fully committed to making this right by sending you any missing fabric caused by the miscalculation - at no cost to you.
Please check back here to stay in the loop, and watch your email for a notification about the fabric and when you can expect to receive it. Thank you so much for your patience.Last edited by Kristin G.; 09-08-2025, 12:22 PM.Tags: None

Thank you so much for your patience! We discovered two fabric shortages (the Purple Spiceberry and Gold Autumn Ridge) in the September segment and prepared to send those fabrics out right away. However, before we could ship, we discovered that three additional fabrics for our November segment were short.
To avoid the confusion of multiple mailings, we decided to wait and send all the missing fabrics together once everything arrives. The new fabric is on order, and we’ll ship both the September and November fabrics to everyone as soon as they are in hand.
We truly appreciate your understanding — and we’re extremely sorry for the inconvenience.

I was a bit short in month 9 with the Purple Spiceberry but can probably make it work?
I don't remember, were there options for the backing fabric for this quilt? Thank you!

Emails are going out today to everyone who bought a Kit, Autumn or Spring, with the latest information. Fabrics are expected to ship by the week of November 2, just as the first email explained. The replacement fabrics and their amounts are shown in this email. If you don't see the email in your Inbox, check the Junk box.Originally posted by [email protected] View PostIs there any update on when the fabrics will be shipped? Also can you list which fabrics will be short next month? I really appreciate you all being so diligent about this. Mistakes happen to all of us. (Not mentioning the bad cut I did on some fabric)
My LIVE for Months 11 and 12 is this Wednesday October 29, 2025, noon central time. It will be the final wrap-up LIVE for Laurel
Ridge! I hope to see you there.Barbara Black

Unfortunately, I haven't received either of the emails that you described and yes, I have checked my spam folder and there is nothing there. Did the emails go out to everyone who is a Quilt Show member? Or only to those who bought the Kits? My mom purchased the kit for me for my birthday, so I may need to check with her to see if she received both emails detailing which fabrics will be replaced.

The wrap up of Laurel Ridge is bittersweet, but you’ve got me feeling very excited to see the 2026 BOM. No matter how beautiful that quilt may be, my decision to make it will come in large part from my desire to share more time with you, Barbara, and enjoy the benefit of your teaching. My first TQS.com BOM has been a truly wonderful journey! Thank you so very much.Ann Cameron

Wow! That is so kind of you to say. I really needed that. Now, who are you? Please let [email protected] know your name doesn’t show on your Forum posts. They can fix it.

Just those who bought the kit. Do check with your mom. If not, let me know which kit you have so I can get it to you.Originally posted by [email protected] View PostUnfortunately, I haven't received either of the emails that you described and yes, I have checked my spam folder and there is nothing there. Barbara said in her last video that we all should have received an email on Monday (10/27/25) about the shipping of replacement fabrics; I have not received any emails from The Quilt Show on this matter. Does this mean I will not be getting the replacement fabric? Has anybody else not received this email?

I have received 8” of R581561D Yellow fabric, but the pattern calls for 10.5” WOF. I cut 4 strips 1.75” and only have 1 “ left for the last two strips. I also received the Arabella R101519D Cream & Painterly Flower 14” and the pattern adds up to 14.75” to cut the 7 strips. I am sure I am not the only one with the incorrect amount.
