I am using my own fabrics, mostly batiks. I am trying to follow the month 1 directions, but I wonder if anyone else has noticed that in the fifth column of the chart, the "color" is listed as "blue"? I plan to follow the picture of the fabric, but that word makes me unsure! I have my batiks all lined up to coordinate with the fabrics Lynne has set out.

I remember hearing Lynn mentioning that she uses both Best Press and Terial Magic in herFabric Folding Pen, but I can't remember the proportions...how much of each she uses in the Pen. For the life of me, I can't find find that again. Could you please repeat what you do? Thank you.

I did my month one…so very pleased with instructions etc.,pictures too. I was curious about pressing the seams. In one area it says press right or left etc….then says press seams open…mine came out so perfect!

Figure out how much you need for this month, starch that much. If you usually get a lot of shrinkage allow for that. I use Best Press as needed and only allow an extra inch or so beyond what is needed for the month.Originally posted by kslough View PostI too like to pre-starch my fabric but I don't want to starch all the fabric now. What is a reasonable amount of fabric to starch to begin? I'm worried if I several strch chunks as the year progresses, I might end up with leftovers to0 small to use and ultimately run out of fabric at the end. Thanks.

I just watched it on my iPad with no problem. So it must be something with your ipad Settings. Trying Google to see if you can find the solution.

Yes, Lynn, this happens to me, too, with my iPad. I’m unable to watch any of the videos on the website because of the bot message. I put in a ticket with the Quilt Show and they suggested that it was a device issue and that I should clear the iPad’s cache. I did so, but videos still won’t work for me. My iPad is rather old and I’m not sure if that has something to do with it. I am, however, able to watch the videos on my desktop computer. - Judy P.

I’m having trouble watching Lynn Wilder’s video for month 1. I’m using an ipad. After logging in to the quilt show.com and going to Learn, BOM, video, I get asked to login to show that I am not a bot. But I don’t see where to login again…..anyone else seeing this?
