The Kit fabrics are in varying widths, some as narrow as 2”. That doesn’t lend itself to pre-washing. I just started using the Kit as is. When the quilt is complete I will wash with Color Catchers for any bleeding.Barbara Black

No, the pattern will be up first thing January 1, sometimes the day before. There are few choices for the first month so it will be easy to make your choices. You can always look at the Fabric Requirements document to see what Kit fabrics are used in Month 1 if you really want a head start.
SECRET TIP: we make the center cabin in Month 1.
