Finished! I am very pleased and proud. I have learned a lot while making this quilt. Thank you, Barbara, for your step by step guidance through it all! Quilting it will be a challenge with all the applique.

Yes, I did appliqué it, and used Quilters Select fusible as a stabilizer.

I love this. Thanks for posting the picture. I have been debating using a black background for the next BOM, and now I am convinced!

Loved this project. I used mostly pieces of leftover fabrics and actually purchased very little except for the white. I did some embroidery in the corner squares. Thank you for the learning experience,

WAHOO! I finished! I have never participated in a BOM. What a journey. There are so many things I learned that I cannot name them all. Barbara’s videos were such a help!

Barbara, I’m wondering if you could do a bonus video on the quilting on your quilt?

My blog of November 30, 2022 has detailed information on how I quilted mine. And the LIVE broadcast tomorrow Friday December 2, 2022 will be on that topic. The LIVE broadcasts are recorded in case you can’t tune in when live.
Barbara gives excellent instruction in her videos. I've done very, very little applique, so this is a stretch for me, too. At this point (Dec. 1), I have cut out most of the pieces for Month 1. I chose to heavily spray starch and use freezer paper template to turn edges under. I bought 100 wt and 60 wt threads for the applique. Had to put it away for a while. It's time to get it back out, because I don't want this to be a UFO! It's too pretty.
Thanks, Karen. And for those just starting, Months 1 and 2 are the most time consuming by a lot--each month gets easier going forward.

I had so much fun making this quilt top. I wrote about it often in my blog at https:chquilts.ozarkattitude.com. I can't wait to quilt it and see it become a real quilt. Thanks TQS for the opportunity. And thanks Irene and Barbara.
