Just in time to finish the beautifull BOM of Irene Blank. Marvellous pattern and exquisite lectures by Barbara Black!
Big compliments and greetings from Germany.

I really like how you enlarged the quilt.

I'm so glad that I started this BOM. It has been loads of fun and I have finished the top. I changed the borders and substituted some of my own applique blocks for the pieced blocks. I've really enjoyed seeing how people have made this quilt their own.

Robin, you do such a great job making quilts your own! Thanks for sharing your photo here--it really helps others see how fabric choices/colors can change a quilt from one to another.

I wanted a different border and after a false start I finally finished. I had to put a spacer border to give the quilt a break, but I think it turned out OK.

Lovely, Karen. The dark background adds wonderful drama to your quilt.

I completed my quilt top finally. I did hand appliqué and designed an alternate border using my inspiration fabric.

My quilt top is finished. Next big decision is whether to hand quilt or free motion on my domestic machine. Met my challenge to learn a new to me technique, and this was turned edge appliqué

Seams and borders are straight despite the terrible pic
