Chickadee I agree with you. I've just started it and have given up at first hurdle and used bric a brac under the roof. For this first block I'm probably going to use fusible for the bird but intend to use needle turn in the hearts and trees to learn the technique. I've not tried mistyfuse but have some so I will be learning something new.

Bric a brac :S Have you been going around the White Elephant stalls or does that mean that for next month you are going to throw the kitchen sink at it?

Wendy that made me giggle..Bric a brac -ric rac, it is just a word. How are you doing with the BSR? I've put my BSR foot back in it's box but....I watched a TQS Libby Lehman show, Libby said that you should set the stitch length no longer than 1.5 when using the BSR and it should stop the little jump that the BSR makes when starting. I'm going to try that at a later date.

Pam I use it a lot and turn the stitch length up to 3 or so unless I'm doing a postcard and put it down to 2.5. Take it out of the box again and ignore the start up wiggle. It's just getting excited at the prospect of sewing.

Wendy I promise I will take my BSR out of the box and have a little practice, I know now that it's only excitement making the BSR miss stitches :cheer: not me. It's just a bit of the old dog not learning new tricks syndrome that I have.
