Finished and proud. To make it mine, I added a bear going into the pine trees. Not only does it represent where I live, but how I feel the pandemic has affected everyone around me. We have simply gone into hibernation. Good news......spring is coming!

What a fun experience! I’m much more comfortable with the color wheel and some tricks for precision have improved my accuracy. The finished top is on my Design Floor!

I finished my mystery quilt, but cannot get the picture to post. So I posted it on Facebook with #quiltersquarantine. I really enjoyed making it and learned a lot. I won't be making the basket quilt as I need to get back to my UFO's. Next I will be quilting the Zinnia quilt I made in a class with Melinda Bula at the AQS Daytona show last year. But I will still be watching all the Live videos. Thank you Alex and all your team keeping us connected to the quilt world during this challenging time.

Someone showed a star like the middle one. I loved it. So I went with stars for the quilt.

It's sort of strange to me, not having a border, but the quit seems done without one. It's third in line for quilting, so I guess it's possible I might change my mind and add something, but for now, the top is finished.

I really want to thank Alex for helping to keep me sane during this very unusual time. When I am sewing, that's all I am thinking about. And this project really made me think. It has expanded my color boundaries and also quit layouts. Thank you!

Wawasteel.... hope i got that right. Your quilt is beautiful. I wasn't going to post mine till done but i can't wait. I LOVE how it is turning out. It took me forever to figure out how i wanted to complete the blocks but I'm obsessed with 3 dimensional effect on quilts. I will post it again when the top is all done. Only 21 more blocks and possible a border to finish it. Thanks Alex for a marvelous class.

Thank you so much. I had just bought that pattern with the large flowers. They were supposed to be twice that size so I cut them down and used them on my quilt. Killed two birds with one stone!

Obviously not for the finished category because I am waiting on more fabric to finish the border which will be pieced with K Fassett and black. Alex, thank you very much for the class. It was certainly an adventure and great learning opportunity.
