Wow marilyn, another fantastic quilt. I am glad you like the variegated thread, I just love it for quilting. It looks great in your quilt.

        Marilyn,

I love it. The colors against the black are great. Was this a pattern or did you design it?

Looks wonderful, Marilyn. The black really makes the colors pop. Well done.

Love it, Marilyn! Looks like those are 6" squares, so this is a bit bigger than most of your quilts. The quilting is really beautiful -- love the colored threads on the black background. Looks like it will be a wonderful quilt to snuggle under while watching TV!

Fantastic, Marilyn. Love it all. Aren't those variegated threads wonderful... I'm totally addicted to all multicolored or multi shade threads... :P

Well..finally found the pattern! It is a design by the owner of a nearby QS .. http://www.GrannysAtticQuilts.com
in McCall, Idaho. It is called "Bedazzling Batiks" . I changed it a bit and added an extra row of border
as the little sq.s are made from the remains of cutting 6"sq.s down to 4" and they were extra..so to speak.
Mine finished 62"x72". I did use a black batt to avoid any chance of bearding on the blk. Because of all
that color and black I washed with synthrapol and 4 color catchers two times !!! It is still losing some grey in the
water but won't sweat it now !! And Yes ! I seem to be stuck in big mode for now...Reels quilt is on the
wall...and as I have 2 sets, it will be bigger than the original ! What was I thinkin' ? !

   You were thinking the same as me Marilyn! But it's when you start making the reels quilt that you really wonder! Are you doing the applique border? There's a lot of work in that too but I am hoping that it will be worth it when I EVENTUALLY finish it!

Rita...I think there will be a border...but but maybe not full on...will wait until it's sewn to decide !
Are you doing that applique by hand ? You do that sooo well.
