Here are a few of Saturday's items: my favorite pin cushion...my favorite scissors (I have yet to find another pair that trims fabric like these applique scissors do) and a signed, old, friendship block found in an antique shop.

Congratulations to all the members of the UGH Club! We made it! We survived not being in Houston!
Here is the final list for the scavenger hunt....
21. Where you store your batting/wadding
22. Something “embellished”
23. A picture of you as a child (a picture of a picture is fine!)
24. Your favorite place to sit
25. The quilt you absolutely love
For those returning from Houston or those who haven't been able to post this week but still want to "play", please feel free to post whenever you can.
Thank you to all those who participated and for those who commented! I hope you've enjoyed it!

Okay...here are my Sunday items. My glider chair in the living room sports a Carol Doak scenic quilt and faces my TV and also sometimes sports my heated back massager! My poor batting is just stuffed into a broken laundry basket in a corner in my sewing room. My picture is from when I was four years old. The Ami Simms "Dog-Yeared" quilt has a little embellishment - note the lace around the Valentine for February. (That was such a fun quilt to make!) Picking the quilt I absolutely love was extremely hard. I love all my quilts! This one, though, is one of my favorites. It's the result of the second Carol Doak "Yours Truly Round Robin" from her Yahoo group. (You'll notice I've been using it in my signature.)

In leafy Berkshire, south of England.

Hi Pam. My pincushions are the same underneath, but the colors are placed opposite. It is quite interesting to see, what happens when you change the placement of the colors.
My batting is in plastic bags in a corner of the sewing room behind the door
I have no embellished quilts
I don't have a child photo of me at hand
I like all my quilts, but this small one was a very happy one to make, so it's my choice today
Favorite place is at my sewing machine, but I think I spend more time in my red couch with the laptop, my knitting and some embroidery. Here is a picture of me with my favorite child
Thanks to Bridget for making us occupied and thanks to everyone for sharing. This has been fun

Here's my Sunday list! I do have a nice tall cupboard to store things in now, including my batting.
In Sweet Adelines, it's all about the bling! I made this blouse in our chorus colors for a concert a while back.
This picture shows me with my mom and my paternal grandmother (Nannie) when I was about 18 months old.

My favorite place to sit (when I'm not at my sewing machine, that is!) is right where "X marks the spot!"
And finally, it's so hard to choose a favorite, but I think this would be it - made in remembrance of our favorite vacation - Turkey.

My batting is just tossed into the closet haphazardly.
Do buttons on the chicken's eye count as embellishments?
A picture of me as a child - I was 5 and I think I ASKED for that haircut!?
Favorite place to sit (when not at my Bernina) - just the loveseat in our great room.
The quilt I just love - This was made for me by my Great Aunt when I was very young. I remember going to her house (Snow Camp, NC, no indoor bathroom at the time!) and being allowed to choose the backing fabric myself. My favorite color is turquoise so that's what I chose. You can see a little of it because she wrapped it around to the front for the binding. I spent many hours as a child and young adult snuggled up in this quilt. After I got married I put it away because I didn't want it to wear out.

I just want to say a big "THANK YOU" to Bridget for coming up with this little adventure for us. For me it was not only a distraction from NOT GETTING TO GO TO HOUSTON, but a wonderful trip down memory lane as well. And I very much enjoyed everyone else's postings as well. Thanks to all who participated.
Now, if someone could just distract me from having to go to work tomorrow!
