    19. These are scissors that I rarely use but they cut fabric like a hot knife through butter. I got them with some of the money I won with my fabric Turkey from a contest about 10 years ago. I got my SIL an identical pair as as gift (also with some of the prize money) and she proceeded to cut herself badly with them.

    20. I have 4 quilts that were made by deceased relatives. I'm choosing to post this one since it is the only applique quilt I own. I have no idea how old it is.

I actually have pictures of my most beautiful children--our four girls who are now 21, 24, 26 and 28 with my husband. And our granddaughter who is 2 months.

I haven't been able to post other pics this week but sure have enjoyed this photo treasure hunt (thanks Bridget) and seeing all your treasures.

Here are my day four items:
The quilt block was made by Maggie and came all the way from England. I have some Ginger scissors that I love but these light-weight Fiskar are really easy on my hands. The little Kai cuticle cutters work great for those threads you want to cut close. The pincushion is not really a cushion but it is what holds my pins.

        And these are my grands.

Ritzy: Love the pics of your grands. Totally impressed with all the entries you ladies have made. What happened to the guys? All of them went to Houston?

                Here we go again!

My favorite shoes - I took the picture at about 2:00 AM after my chorus performed at the International Competition - several of us were unable to sleep!

My pincushion/jar features a musical motif - surprise! And my two must-have scissors are both Fiskars.

Here are some of the exchange blocks I won a couple months ago, and really want to have put together by guild meeting on the 18th. (There's always one member who interprets "white" as tan/brown, isn't there?)

And of course, my grands are the cutest kids in the world! This was taken about 10 minutes ago as they were watching Ice Age 3 with grandpa in the basement.

                    20. Quilt made by somebody else - I can do that one. This is an amazing wallhanging made by my friend Maude Haeger. It's called 'Casa del Sol' . It's heavily beaded and the face is three-dimensional. I got it at a time when I went through a very rough patch in my life, and every time I looked at it, I just had to smile. It still has, and always will have that effect on me. It's like Maude quilted zillion of good vibes into this piece.

                    16. Favourite shoes are Crocs in any colour. I have a pile of them.

                    17. A few pin cushions

                    18. Let me bore you with another picture of that little thimble, this time with her very proud and happy Dad.

Lorchen--she is just beautiful. Hmmm, I don't have a real pincushion and it must be because you have collected them all. Love the display.

I've had so much fun seeing all your pictures! Such cute children/grandchildren! And, Lorchen, you could never show that adorable "thimble" too much--she's so precious! Wish I could participate, but I'm in Las Vegas at the home we purchased for retirement. (didn't bring a camera) I'm hoping to paint my sewing room before I have to go back to California on Wednesday. Maybe I can participate next year--I probably won't be in Houston next year, either! Hopefully, though, I'll be living full time in Las Vegas! Judy in Torrance/Las Vegas
