Sending up prayers for everyone on the list.

Please add me to your prayer list especially for tomorrow when I have to have a CT scan of my abdomen and internal organs. I am not a big eater nor can I hold a lot of fluid at a time. I am worried about the prep for the test because they want me to drink about a 20 oz. bottle of barium in the hour before the test. I am the one that it takes an hour and a half or more to drink a 12 oz. can of soda so I have no idea how I am going to get this stuff in me. OH Well!!!!! I guess I will just have to pray a lot with each swallow. Then we have to wait a week for the results. I don't think it is anything serious but I have had the flu off and on since mid December so have not been eating right or getting all the fluids I need so I think I just threw my system out of whack. But in any case tomorrow does not seem like it will be a fun day. Hugs to all, Ann

Now onto the sad news. Monday morning I got the phone call I never wanted to have. A call from 21st Century Oncology Center to set up an appointment. Ductal invasive carcinoma, better known as breast cancer, in the lump and the lymph node. The following Thursday in the afternoon, I have an appointment with an oncologist breast surgeon to figure out the treatment. In the meantime I forwarded the transcript and films, along with the results from the biopsy to my DS who is an ob gyn, she's contacting a good frien of hers who's an oncologist back in Mexico to get his opinion. Hoping to be able to make an informed decision for the best treatment. Please, keep sending healing and positive thoughts and prayers to get rid of this "uninvited guest".
