I know that Lorchen won't ask for herself, but she is under-going some really nasty toothache and root canal work, both top & bottom, as well as making dozens of wedding favours for her son's wedding next month. Some prayers for peace of mind & calming of nerves would not go amiss.

Strangely enough, Lorchen, I was going to post about Ruth today. I spent 2 weeks with her at the end of February early March to help her cope while she waited for the new meds to start taking effect. Pete and I then went on holiday and I have waited for her to come home for Easter to really see how she is soping. The meds are now working and she is functioning quite well although she still stresses alot inside. She has started therapy and hopes to be able to continue via telephone from Vienna. She is planning to stay there until the summer and decide then, depending on a lot of different factors whether she will stay on to finish the course or return to UK. It has been so good to have her here for a week for quality time together, compared to her previous stressful and worrying visits. We have just got back from taking her to the airport.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers over the last few months and the personal messages I have received. They have meant so much to me.
In the post today I received a beautiful gift of a heart wall hanging from Lorchen. I was thrilled to receive it and it wasn't until I read this thread that the significance hit me. I have made hearts for others but didn't expect to get one myself. Thank you, Lorchen. I will treasure it! Hugs

Thank you Pam for the post about Ruth. Such positive steps forward from where she has been. Praying the steps will increase to wonderful strides. Lorchen, you've been in my prayers as well--bummer about the root canal. I will never understand the "ice test". I don't know what it's professional title is, but my oral surgeon said he needed to make sure he had the right tooth and ziiinnnngggged me with an ice wand! Kinda barbaric I think. After the root canal, I didn't have any more pain, though, so hopefully you're on the mend. My friend Cathy is still critical--awaiting a match for a transplant. Thank you for your prayers for her. And if I could add my dad to the list--he will be having knee replacement Apr. 23rd. He's 83 and in incredibly good health. He is a bit of a worrier, though. Thanks.
Blessings,
Jane

Please pray for my friend Chris and her family. Her daughter ended up in the ER earlier this week with a seizure and then yesterday her son broke his leg. He had surgery last night and now has a lot of hardware in his leg. In addition to breaking two bones, he trashed the growth plate and is looking at possibly more surgery and seeing the doctors every 6 months until he is done growing. I know that prayers work miracles.
