Praying for Maria. I am a general dentist. I would suggest ask if she can take any pain meds before the surgery and be ready to get her home and get her prescription for strong pain meds on board, if she needs them. My son is 17 and he needs his out and it will cost us 1400$ out of pocket. I might send him to someone I know better. I have a funny feeling about it. He's going to wait until school is out, so he doesn't miss any days. Also praying for Teresa and Cathy, and Pam and Ruth. Jan

More power to you! Follow those motherly instincts; I swear they are always correct!! My daughter called me about my Granddaughter & possible allergic food reactions; and I asked her what do you feel/think & she said she felt she had severe allergies, I told her to listen to her instincts and keep her away from the foods she thought she was allergic to. Well, long story short, the allergist gave my daughter a lecture about how unusual it is for young children to have several food allergies but he would go ahead and test her.(he added it would take 20 mins for a reaction); five mins. later the Dr was back in the room going Ohhhhhhh, look at this! The Dr. then told my daughter to keep an epi-pen with her at all times as well as benadryl. He gave her another prescription for an epi-pen and said make sure she had several around! Yep, multiple allergies to what she told him she was allergic to! Mother's know best :P

Thank you prayer warriors for your prayers for Cathy. She is home from the hospital now! Praise God! She will need to continue weekly treatment going back to the hospital. There is a window of possibility of a full recovery without any need for a kidney transplant. How about that? Isn't it just wonderful to have that kind of hope after such a scary ordeal? So happy for her and her husband. Al will be coming back to work at UPS tomorrow. Would appreciate prayer for him as well as continued prayer for Cathy as she is in treatment. What a pleasure to be able to share such good news with you all. Praying matters, friends
Blessings,
Jane

Ruth and I are taking one day at a time. There are no obvious signs of the medicaton working at the moment. I have a flight booked to go home this coming Saturday 10 March. I will have been here 2 weeks by then. Ruth's course has not worked out as planned generally. A 2 year course has grown into a 4 year course which financially is not viable for her and Ruth cant cope with the stress levels. There are also other factors involved. Apart from that she need Talking Therapy which is only possible at home, so she has to eventually decide for herself whether she stays here or comes home and heal.
We will be doing some sorting and clearing out of her belongings while I am here so that if she does return to UK for good, the packing wont be too stressful for her.
I have been meaning to post, but was not too sure how much information I should give.
Thank you all for your concern and prayers.
In leafy Berkshire, south of England.
