Mary, I certainly will keep your friend Lennis in my prayers during this hard time for her.

One of our friends from church has been diagnosed with cancer--it was found in her kidney, lung and breast bone. Please pray for her and her family: Althalee and Jim. Thank you friends, I continue to pray for those listed.

I am sorry that I haven't been able to get to the forum. It has been a very difficult week. Thank you so much for your prayers. Ruth is back home with us for the holidays but is mentally in a very dark place. She is back on her meds but it takes weeks to get back into her system and change the way she is thinking. We value your continued prayers.

Thankfuly she has caring and supportive friends here.

Pam I'm so glad to hear that Ruth is back at home with you for the holidays. I'm praying that her meds kick in real quickly.

PAM, I am continuing to keep you and your daughter in my prayers! It is sad that she is going through the holidays in "a dark place!" May the light of Jesus Christ shine upon her and bring her out quickly! RITZY, It is hard to believe that yet another one of your church members has been diagnosed with cancer. One would think cancer is contagious. I pray the Lord will give the family strength to get through this with the "peace that passes all understanding." JAN, I pray it a peaceful holiday season for you. LORNA, I pray that your MIL does not have any permanent damage from her stroke! And MARY, I'll be sure to pray for your freind Lennis. What a heavy load to carry! I pray she has the patience and perseverance of Job! And, there are others with past requests that we have not been updated on that I will continue to remember in prayer!

I will have an update on Terry in January, when he sees his doctor again and has another PSA test. He has finally gotten the right dosage of the pill that helps with the hot flashes, and now they are not as sever and not as often. Praise the Lord! (This is not without other side effects, though! )

Scoopie, will be praying for good results for Terry. Pam, praying that the meds kick in soon and that she will find things to be thankful for and make a written list. My dad had me start that when I needed to look at the positives in life. He suggested 5 a day. Last Christmas I was somewhat in her shoes, Pam. So lots of prayers for the Lord to show the doctors what works best. It's sometimes trial and error. Hugs to all, Jan

Late this afternoon I bent down and became incapacitated with the worst pain in my head than I've ever had in my life. I was alone in the shop and thankfully didn't pass out. It was a horrifying experience and I feel blessed to still be here. When I was able, I called and spoke to my doctor's nurse.

Would you please keep me in your thoughts. I need to go in and have some tests to make sure everything is okay. I'm feeling much better but still feeling out of sorts and eye sight isn't back to normal yet.

                          Thank you so much.

Pam, I am so glad that your daughter is back in the bosom of her family! If anyone can get her back to health you can. I am sorry that you all have this burden to bear but with you keeping an eye on her meds she should be feeling better very soon. In the meantime you need to keep yourself in a good place so that you can help her. There is a book (you can even download it as an ebook) called 'How You Can Survive When They're Depressed by Anne Sheffield which I found very useful when my own daughter became depressed. Thankfully she is in a good place right now. Good luck and I hope the Christmas Holidays are a time of happiness and healing. Rita. X
