Cancer is afflicting another--Phyllis is my daughter's mother-in-law. The doctors recently did a hysterectomy on her and we received the report last night that cancer was found. They will give her 6 weeks to heal and then remove the cervix. There hope is to then do radiation. She has other health issues so really needs the prayers for healing and peace of mind. Thank you.

As I see the needs of others for prayer, I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers daily! May God place his healing hands on those who are suffering, and give peace to the ones who are so close to them.
Terry went to work this past week, but is still in a lot of pain (from the stent, and his work is physical)) and still has not passed any stone fragments. According to the nurse, they could be microscopic, and he might not see or feel them pass. Ummm, highly unlikley! He has an appointment for an Xray and then sees the doctor this coming Thursday. If he has passed all of the pieces, they will pull the stent.
The hormone therapy is doing just what the doctor said it would! Terry is having hot flashes, continually. Then he gets cold and clammy from sweating. Nights have become interesting, with him throwing the covers off one minute, and pulling them up the next. And, there's not a darn thing I can do for him to make him more comfortable!
We both are in need of more sleep! Prayers on that, please! And, thank you all who are continually praying for us! You are the greatest!

Dawn--I will pray that you will get some sleep and also that Terry can get rid of the stent. I found that was the most painful part of the procedure. My husband sleeps the same way (for different reasons) but I find that I am constantly waking up because he is constantly waking up. Sleep is so important to our well-being.Deborah W

Prayers for Phyllis and family.. This is tough waiting for the healing, to go through more surgery. Prayers for you all through this tough time.
Prayers for Dawn and Terry and some much needed sleep.
My Dad is doing much better, and sleep is also a problem there. With his arm in the sling, he can't get comfortable in a bed, so is sleeping in the lounge and up and down all night - keeping Mum up. Mum works full time, so is struggling a little.. But for the most part he is out of pain, and not an ounce of trouble from his heart which is great news..
Harry isstill waiting for more results before any decisions are made. So still praying, however the feeding tube has been working well and he has again put on weight and is looking much healthier!
So prayers for you all, whether you are supporting or struggling during these tough times, I know you are supported by God's love.

Just catching up with all on the prayer list you are all in my thoughts,we are having a busy time at the moment my mother in law who was 94 years old
has just died, she had a good innings as we say in the UK and a good life but was suffering with various complaints so it was a blessing when she died.
