Oh how I do pray for all, and I especially have Laurie in mind as I too am battling a rather aggressive nasty stage 3 breast cancer.
chemo and surgery are complete, but have a year of radiation and targeted therapy ahead of me. But I have a heart full of hope, a DH who is a prince among caregivers, and the joy I get from quilting.

This is the latest info from my niece about my brother-in-law:
7:33pm Apr 25
Hello All! Today I was able to tag along to my dad's dr appt for the results of his latest CT scan. This is the CT scan they are going to us as the baseline going forward because the original CT scan before surgery wasn't a full chest scan. The cancer is in the liver and there is another mass in the abdomen area (probably hidden behind that huge tumor in the original CT scan) and several nodules throughout both lungs- top to bottom. The liver mass is the most concerning at this point. My dad started a pill form of Chemo this past Thursday and is handling it very well- but it is still very early to know anything for sure. He will take this pill for 4 weeks then take 2 weeks off and then start again for 4 weeks and so forth. The DR plans to do another CT scan after he has done a couple rounds to see the progress. Please pray that he continues to respond well physically to the Chemo and that it is effective in reducing the cancer. Thanks again for all the prayers and kind words. We really appreciate all of it!
Your continued prayer is appreciated--his name is Jerry.
Beccah and Elisha James are progressing well. Last ultrasound showed him growing as he should without anything of concern.
Thank you for your prayers for them.Lyndhurst, Ohio USA - East Side Suburb of Cleveland, Ohio

Ritzy,
So sorry to hear of all your family troubles. This is my first visit to this forum topic and I recognized your beautiful picture from the HST exchange. God Bless you and keep you strong for the others in your family. I haven't read all the comments and don't know all the details that your have shared but I want you to know that my prayers are with you, your family and all the doctors who care for you. Christ is Risen and we are in His care.
Barbara

Prayers continuing for Jerry and the others mentioned in this list. The pain and frustration involved is a powerful reminder of how amazing my life is with just the daily stuff to deal with.
The constant support and joy from the TQS members is a real blessing. I know that the Lord has a big hand in bringing together such a large community of like minded people.
Pina is doing well, with her first chemo treatment completed. Next week is the second round. Yesterday we made her a chemo hat. It took all her energy and a little bit of frustration, but she glowed with the outcome. So much so, tomorrow we will start a hand applique project. Will be Pina's first, but it is easier for her to be able to hand sew at the moment!
Her family and friends are being truly wonderful, and we are all humbled by the support she is receiving. I also thank all of you for your prayers as she continues on this journey.

Continued prayers for all of those in need.
Please pray that my almost 2 year old granddaughter will find her voice soon. We've suspected a problem for some time now and she will start speech therapy next month. She does make sounds and says a few words on an occasional basis so we know she does have a voice. She is also a very happy and active toddler and communicates in other ways like pushing, pulling, and pointing. I think I'm nana now but that could also mean no no. They will be testing her hearing first but we know she hears well. We believe it is an oral-motor problem which may be related to the feeding difficulties she's had since birth. We've never had anything like this in our family before. Has anyone else experienced it?
The bus group is continuing their weekly relief trips to northern Japan. They have a website now if anyone is interested, http://www.helpjapan.asia.
