It's even more beautiful after the quilting. Thanks for the detail photo, where you really can see the thread.

Your quilt is gorgeous Renata! I think mine will not get finished before Christmas--it is coming too fast.

WOW, WOW, WOW, Renata, I should seriously consider spending Christmas with you, so that I can snuggle under that beautiful quilt!

Renata, I love your Holiday Lights quilt! It looks wonderful. Someday I'd like to make the tree part and figure out something other than applique for a creative border. That's what kept me from starting this quilt....that, and all the other projects I really do need to get finished!!!

Thank you, everyone, you are all too kind! Lorchen, I'd love for you to come, it would be fantastic, but I have a funny feeling you would not want to miss Weihnachten mit deinen Enkelkindern...

That turned out so beautiful! I love your choice of thread and panto! My only objection is to the word "finally". In my house, you can only use "finally" with projects that are several years old. This one took you almost no time at all! You are so talented!!

Okay guys. Here is my version of the Holiday Lights quilts. The lights just did not appeal to me so tried something different. The picture has too much light in top left corner. It is supposed to be white.

So original and beautiful, Karen. Love what you did on the right side--a perfect winter quilt! You will re-post when you quilt it, won't you?

Yes I will post again after I quilt it. I am a very slow quilter though. Just do it all myself on my domestic. But hey the 830 sure does help that process along quite a bit. Thanks for your lovely comments. I keep trying to step out of the box and do my own thing but follow the basic outline of what the designer did for the quilt. Just want to add my touch.

I like your idea Karen and you've made it your own. The curvy line going through is neat.
